I read komo's first post adn really like this idea aswell. You could risk playing players who havent earnt that many points cus of their weak schemes to play in it if u were really trying to gain some points.

Like i could take part in an rr and have a partner like ryan to try and get more points than say lordhound and ryan rr'ing. Cus i suck at it. Same with getting them to gamble and to play in a default if they have more loses in those schemes.

I really need to get more time to read the thread though as there does seem like some arguments against this. But yea, a unique idea none the less. +1

this would of been fine if more focus was on overall standings being more important than seasonal. Also when you could reset your overall rating, people abused it to gain easier seasonal points to make a playoff spots. I just came up with a solutions to that problem..

Like i said before about classic there should of been more po spots going to overall players, 2/3 or 3/4 of po spots for overall, and display the standings as overall as default. Viewing seasonal would then effectly become the 'bonus whoever earnt the highest rating change' awards to a smaller faction than whover has highest overall. (Handicap or whatever it was called at fb)

However this never got worked out and the po spots stayed on 50/50 for each type and seasonal remained the default view.

I felt the way darkone and myself got the ball rolling on the playoffs over summer worked well. We set deadlines and did remove those from certain pairings if they were unable to make these deadlines.

I felt it worked even if it was annoying at times.

now i dont know how the current playoffs are going due to my own inactivity but i think having a cold set deadlines could be problematic. Im more in favour of correct results and waiting then removing lazy players, also sometimes life does throw up its own surprizes and people do have genuine reasons.

yesterday i asked for TuS. tita asked me for tel. I said i wasnt active, he asked for 2 tus hysterias, i said we both pick. I'll pick t17, he was like no.

I could of got some nice points in t17 and elite vs him for classic league but he only wanted tel or two hysterias, this was said. However. You can't force people to pick and play what you want them to.

You may win less points off lower ranked players compared to higher ones but if you still play enough and win enough you'll still climb the ladder surely.

Pro hunting, noob bashing, avoiding, all these things happen. But frankly there is nothing to do about it. its just the way some people are.

Im alive. Yet to get the internet installed at my new house with friends.. I'll be playing when that happens but it may be a matter of months before we book it as my mates can't afford the current installation fee. Im not prepared to pay it all 

Also rather busy in real world with my job. Doing abit of inbound marketing and social media stuff for a company so trying to improve SEO and add content to the site with blogs and things. Then hanging with mates etc as well. But yea. i wanna get active again soon.

just have inactive. If soemone doesnt make any games for 3 months they have an inactive rank. Then they arent displayed unless u look at something like overall or display all players etc? Soon as they play a game they go back to wherever they were and show up again

Hide on the top or middle. Then you can get a higher chance of an easier crate. And allowing yourself to get more time to collect and attack doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. I may not have the technical side of roping down. But i think my league style isnt too bad. Ive beaten ropers who are faster and better than me. But sometimes even the turtoise can win the race.

I think todays maps are tigher, higher, more zigzags and do increase the chance of crate rape. That is why i don't see it as cheap to hide in the middle or top when you get that health advantage. Even from the start of a match i'll take the middle hides because sometimes a crate on the outside islands in one of those zigzags can cause a miss from a good roper and i can get one up over them.

I think volcom would get the odd bad crate. But i still think he would win because chances are he would hide in positions to prevent himself from getting too raped? Also think his roping, speed, consistency, knocks and zook attacks would allow him to still hit often with hard crates. Also look a gonzo. Hes not a fast roper but can attack with amazing 3sec bounce nades down the side to get his attacks in.
IBB i think was always a great league roper. But volcom, dibz and others reached another level.

I can see dub's point tho. If elite gets its own league why can't roper? There is nothing to stop anyone creating specific scheme leagues by themselves. Thats how they came about in the first place with wel and more recently a2b.

If tus hosed it tho it will take more activity away from the classic league.

Why isnt climbing the elite rating and elite ladder of classic league enough for you? Id be more statified with that and trying to be number 1 in elite on there or number 1 on roper in classic than reaching playoffs and winning a single scheme league. Yea its fun because you know your always going to pick elite in those schemes but ive played players in tus and don't pick for point but for fun. Many elites and t17s vs uber and franz because more enjoyable instead of picking bng or whatever for more points. Although that isnt really related.

I think its a dangerous road for tus to create more single scheme leagues, but an open ball game for anyone to create them individually and see how much activity they get.

All these games should be in season 16 then!?

Maybe we can reorder the games so that they effect the overall points for both players for those played in seaosn 16. And make sure they don't effect the seasonal point of 17?

Or we can void them all for late reporting as its effecting seasonal points in a new season...
