I'm trying to find the oldest replay I can with xANKAx and Crazy managed to find two from a tournament back in 2004. If anyone could find ANY replay with any xANKAx member please post them here. I would love you forever.

Just go to your replay folder and do a search for xANKAx.

I didn't want to make this public at first but due to zek's reputation I felt like it was to some extent necessary; we have decided to kick zek.

When zek joined he seemed very nice and fun to play with. But it has come to my attention that he has a very bad reputation and we do not appreciate the "troll nature" of zek. xANKAx is a friendly clan with a good reputation, we wish to keep it that way.

We hope that we haven't offended zek or anyone else.

Thread locked, we don't want any flame wars or drama.

What's the requirement?

• You got to be good enough to play at least at our standard (more fun for everyone) •
• We need to find you nice (skill is nothing with a bad attitude!) •
• Decent English (it isn't comfortable to talk to people with bad grammar) •
• At least 15 years of age or older (most are over 20 so too young people will make it feel awkward) •

How to join?

Post an application on these boards, or contact us in game to play with us. In your application you need to state your lobby name and how old you are. After the application is sent, we will try to find you and play with you. If you have decent skill and seem nice, you will most surely be accepted.

Leagues General / Tel hal blablabla what?

I don't get it.. what's up with all those leagues?
Are they leagues or am I confused beyond repair here?

There's so many different acronyms and I can't seem to figure out what they are. I thought TUS was the only league thing.. I'm really confused about how this works.

To my knowledge all you do is compete for seasons on TUS but I suppose it goes deeper than that?

Is it like categories with certain schemes you may only choose from?

Beldrama has joined xANKAx again! He joined a few days ago and we're glad that he's finally back to W:A.
Beldrama used to be named "NiceBoy" back in the day, some of you might remember him by that name.
I'm glad that he joined because it's not only awesome that he's back, but it also helped the clan get a board

xANKAx is an old clan from back in the day. It was founded 2004 and was resurrected in 2012.
We focus mainly on friendship over skill but skill do play a role in who we take in. The point of the clan is to have fun above anything else.

Q: What does xANKAx mean?
Anka is the swedish word for duck.

Q: Why ducks?
They can fly, walk on the land and swim in the water. They also have their own song on youtube with over 100 million views so what is there not to love about ducks?

Q: Can I join?
As long as you're a nice person and has some skill, sure! Please contact someone in the game or make a topic on our boards.

Q: Why x'es? Why not ´ ?
To us xANKAx became the entire name eventually, to us it doesn't feel right to just have it like "ANKA´". We even pronounce the clan by "xANKAx" rather than "ANKA". However, if you're in the clan and want the ´, you're welcome to have "xANKAx´" but we would prefer if you kept the x'es.

Ok so now when the problem is taken care of..

How do you record in W:A? I don't get the export video.. it doesn't seem to export anything!?
Also fraps just makes everything black..

Tech Support / Replays don't work

Let's re-do this..

I wanted to record some replays I have and I noticed that the replay files weren't possible to open.
What I did was this:

I realized that it didn't bind the file to WA.exe so I made it to "open as" with WA.exe. It worked but now I cannot right click it to save schemes, maps, ect. And since I didn't know that fraps wouldn't work, I need to be able to extract the replay to make it possible to record it.

What do I do? How do I return the file to normal again??

For some reason my saved replays won't start.
It keeps telling me to "run with".

What happened? How do I fix this?

TUS Discussion / TUS design flaw

Ever since I joined TUS this thing has been bugging me a bit..

I'm very into design and stuff and this doesn't really look right to me. The sidebar isn't aligned with the rest of the website. I would suggest to change it to this:

Agree or disagree, I just felt like pointing it out.

ps: had to do it in paint, excuse the crude execution on the example.

TUS Discussion / Cups VS Tournaments?

I'm confused.. I've really tried to understand the difference between cups and tournaments. What's the difference? When I look at the basic information, I just get the same info for both. I'm very new to this stuff so please explain

I think I understand that leagues are seasonal and there are "all time" ranks too. It's all about points, right? But cups are basically one-time tournaments where people compete with each other to climb the ladder to the top, so to speak? But aren't tournament the same concept?

Confusing

I've never really cared about sports either so I guess that sort of throws me into the dark here as well.

I'm visiting my parents and I downloaded Wsnooper here. The problem is that I suspect that the buddy list isn't saved online? So do you guys know what file it is that I need to back up?

I'm just asking so I don't have to take the whole damn folder but.. if that has to be done it's not really a problem. I'm just asking for comfort's sake.

Why aren't there any category for bigmaps?
I honestly enjoy bigmap roperaces the most

It's a bit of a bummer not to find a section for it, could that be fixed?
