« on: December 04, 2013, 09:01 PM »
I'm running the latest version of WA, but it has no sound and it crashes when I try to play. How can I fix this? I tried reinstalling, but it doesn't work.

This 2D fighting game is really good for a time waster. You can have Homer Simpson vs Mario. You can have Batman vs SpongeBob Squarepants. And even have them fight in Worms land!  :P You can download this game at www.elecbyte.com. Here's some instructions how to do stuff.
1. Download Mugen
Linux users can download Mugen at the link below.http://web.archive.org/web/20050520144330/http://randomselect.1emulation.com/hosted/mugen-2002-04-14%5B1%5D.tar.bz2. Windows users can download either DOS Mugen, Winmugen, or Mugen 1.0. Note that DOS Mugen doesn't always work, especially if you're using XP.
2. Install Mugen
To install Mugen simply unzip the downloaded file to a directory of your choice.
After the installation you should have a directory structure containg folders and a exe.
3. Installing Chars
Your Mugen game already comes with one or two character(s).
To install more just go to a MUGEN site and download it. Try Mugenguild or Mugenfreeforall.
After downloading the char extract it to the Mugen chars directory and create one directory for the char if you don't have a folder. Move the files to the folder.
4. Adding Chars to Mugen
Now that you have your chars installed you have to add them to Mugen.
For that go to the data directory in Mugen and open the select.def file.
To add chars to Mugen simply add the line "nameofthechar," to the [Characters] section like this.
In the select.def file there is a more detailed explanation on how to add chars to Mugen.
Be sure to read it too.
One final important note is that the name of the char directory, the name of the char .def file and the name you add to the select.def has to be the same.
 ;)
