Hm, anyone care to suggest some Tower RRs that should belong in this pack?

Cheetah Towers for sure.

Edit: Oh I see now that some of them are in package already.. But only 6 of them, I can send more if needed, I think I have around 15 of them..

You can still notch even with 1s turn time, but to be honest, I don't care anymore and don't HAVE to care anymore, so meh, you guys deal with it lol.
........

Can U don't care that much that U quit replying in this topic? Please, don't HAVE to care that much. Just leave. And just don't care. Please. We guys will deal with it. U don't care anymore. Cause U don't HAVE to care anymore.

Stay on-topic plz.
Any thoughts and opinions about the subject anyone?

Enjoy your pissing and your going for the juice and your scratching of the balls and your chatting and relaxed bng in funners or in games with friends where U know it's all fine.
In league games where it's all about the win, get your shit together and play it ftw. Lets see darkz doing his notching in 3 sec. What's the harm? I bet that anyone who notch or use screen marks can't do it effectively in 3 secs as he can do it in 15 secs. I'm convinced into that. Prove me wrong. Lets make turn time 3 sec for one season and see what happens?
Any balls?

Honestly I just wanted a SG to adjust my hides slightly.
Times are a changing, KRD.

SG is the thing that everyone agrees on Breeze, I think U can consider it done.. Same goes for inf. tele, inf. torch and inf. firepunch.. (To sum this thread up a bit)

What's left to discuss is:
1. Maps
2. 1 girder or no girders?
3. Turn time and hot-seat time, same or less?
4. Playing BnG with TestStuff or not (/cira and /alp)?

My thoughts:
1.
Gap in the middle of the map to get rid of closeness rule is the thing I started to use on my maps 3 yrs ago.. https://www.tus-wa.com/profile/Ramone/maps/?type=BnG
Now, not all of those maps are the best example, they were made for funners with friends, but U can get the idea of how can they look like..
I know that map making style for official games is hardly to force to players, but at least there could be some sort of "standard" what is the good map and what's not. I've noticed in this new TUS home page that a big percentage of BnG official games are played on maps like this or similar:

No difference in heights, little rounded hills sorted next to each others and a tree on every little hill.. Most of the players hides down in the deep thin holes and 4s fp or 5s lg nade-war is on.. Euugh..
HHC have made a good remark:
Quote from: HHC on October 03, 2012, 09:34 PM
Perhaps playing BnG on a non-level field is also a good idea. When worms are not on the same height it's quite a lot harder to notch shots.
As I've said, I know it can't be forced, but it won't hurt to try and play on some different map types sometimes.. It doesn't always have to be -forest, there are lots of other good terrains for BnG maps as: Fruit, Tentacle, Hospital, Art, Desert or even Cheese, Tools, Pirate, Manhattan... All of these gives U different possibilities, different bounces, banks, hides etc..

Also BnG official games should not be played on pre-made maps! I've noticed that lots of my bng maps were used for league games, it shouldn't be allowed imo and moderators should do something about it.. If U really don't have 30 secs to make a new map, at least change terrain or reseed objects.

2.
I don't see a need for a girder rather than a perfect tool for making the tightest hide or for darksiding.. It can be easily misused and yeah, I know it can be destroyed by other player, but still.. I don't see a need to complicate it with the girder, so imo - no girders at all.

3.
I think that every tweak in rules in order to "reduce effectiveness of notching" (as Mablak says) is a good tweak. Yeah, it's not gonna solve the notching issue or get rid of it, but at least it would make it more difficult for notchers and ppl who marks the screen with thumbs, papers etc.. No retreat time and 7-8 secs turn time could be a good change.

4.
Same as for the turn time. But I guess that most of players are not familiar with bng+teststuff and that they should test /ts and discuss it. It would surely reduce effectiveness of notching, but I ain't sure how much and in which ways it affects the "classic" way of bng playing.. I don't have a strong opinion about it either, need to test it few times first..

Awesome one Leroy! This shot must end up in some video, showcase#3 mayb? Slow-motion is awesome, when his worm flies up right next to yours, looks like your worm was watching at his as he's flying by! xD

It took 714 hp, hell!!

What have I done.

Best comment ever!!! lol
Goes so good with his avatar! xD

Breeze just wanted to add 2-3 shotguns into the scheme and opened this topic cause of that, and after 3 pages of discussion about turn times, rubbers, notching, etc, I can imagine his face:
:o "omg, what have I done?!"
LOL!

Btw, no worries Breeze it's not ur fault, this is usual thing when someone mention changes in BnG rules.
Best and easiest way to do what U wanted is to add those shotguns to the scheme and don't tell anyone about it, just use it like that!  Trust me, no one will mind it.. ;)

Ramone: there would be just the same questions, we would have to specify which schemes make one an all-rounder.

There are no questions at all. All schemes = All-rounder... Simple as that.

I've already said this once upon the time, but the best and easiest way to do it is to make every scheme separate league and find a way to calculate points for the best allrounder of the month/year from all those stats.. . No needs for "classic league". "free league", TRL, TEL, w/e... Every scheme has it's own league and it's simple as that. ..???

All of these photographs were taken with the camera mounted on a tripod, without any compensation of the daily rotation of the sky Earth. This limits my exposures to about 6-8 seconds, any longer times make the images of the stars spread out into little streaks. I'm going to buy some tracking device really soon, this will allow me to enter a whole new level of possibilities :D

Without "tracking device", seconds of exposure that U can make (without stars looking like a "little streaks") are limited with the level of magnification that U use. Larger magnification = less secs for exp. With your 300mm U can take 6-8 secs exposures, but with larger magnification (ie. 500mm) U could take exposures of maybe 0,5-1 sec.. And that's all fine for the wide field astro-photo.. But if U wanna "enter the new level of possibilities" and take photos of DSO (Deep Sky Objects) like Galaxies, Nebula's or Star clusters, U would need a telescope and a "tracking device" as U call it.. I use Equatorial mount - to be precise..

This is what I use:

Newtonian reflector SkyWatcher 150/750 and EQ3 mount with built-up motors for tracking. I'm taking photos with the "prime-focus" technique with my Canon EOS 500D. Prime-focus is when U take off the lens from ur camera and connect it directly on the telescope, and the photons of light are "falling" directly on a chip of a camera.

The whole process of taking and processing photos this way is much more complicated and I won't explain it here now, but if U're interested in any of this, don't hesitate to ask for a suggestion cause I'm into this hobby for several years already..

Here's some of my DSO photos, just to get a clue what am I on about:
Whirlpool galaxy or M51, located approx. 25 million light years away. It's a stack of 12 photos, 30sec exp each on ISO1600:

Star cluster M13, that's formed of approx. 300,000 stars, located 25,000 light years away. 20 photos, 30 sec each, ISO400:

Eagle nebula M16, 20x30sec ISO3200 + 20x30sec ISO1600 + 18x30sec ISO800:

Lagoon nebula M8, 9x30sec ISO3200 + 30x30sec ISO1600 + 10x30sec ISO800:

And I have to say that the credits is not only on me, 2 friends and me are doing all of this together.. We have our own amateur-astronomy association and a blog where we present our work to the local astronomers.. The whole technique and the equipment that we use is already obsolete.. It was not too expensive, we've got the whole equipment for smth like 850 euros, 2 yrs ago. Today, there's a lots of new equipment that's much easier to use, like auto-guiders, Go-To, CCD cams and stuff, but for us it's too expensive for a hobby from which U cannot gain any money back..
At least we have the enthusiasm and the results which satisfies us..  ;)

The sky is not rotating, the earth is!!!  ;)

Vns barman! It looks like it's a pretty wide angle, can U tell me what lens have U used?

Here's my startrails from few months ago with 18mm lens, I don't have a remote shutter yet so U can see a little pause between series of 10 photos... It's a stack of 220 photos, 30 sec each (also). Stacked in http://www.startrails.de/html/software.html - cool free application, U can make timelapse videos with it also..

worms don't stay between turns when TestStuff is disabled. That's a hardcoded limitation, and bypassing it will require lots of unnecessary tricks, hacks, and whatever, resulting in loss of features.

Btw, with the oxygen points he would die at some point when they end
I can also add a "hp reduction" when the oxygen points reach zero

Does that mean it's possible if TestStuff is enabled?

The idea that I had is that worms would not be drown and instantly dead when they enter the water, either way - by being ploped or by jumping in water by themselves..

That's why I meant to somehow separate those two as two different features, "floating" and "diving". Oxygen points would be needed if worm "dives" under water and not needed if worm "floats" on the top..

I'm just fantasizing, I guess it's too complicated to do that.. ;x
