I had no problems this trl season so far. And when I look at the recent complaints, I see more complaints about someone faking, than I see for bng...
I always supported NRBnG, but imo the current rules work as well at the moment.

What you did should be perfectly legal imo.
Afaik a weapoin is something that ends your turn, which means that stuff like rope, chute and also ws are utilities like those on the utility key.
Its kinda similar to ropeknocking; you can also do this before touching the walls and you can even deal damage with that.
