Then why in the past when complaints have been made the MODs have went with the logic that you can hit them with grenade but they can't hit you, or, you can't hit them but they can hit you, and it's been allowed?

I attached this replay, you can easily hit.

So you are telling me I can use this logic and it's true:
I can hit him with a grenade
He can't hit me with a grenade
It's darksiding?

how would that be fair if they can choose a hide you can't hit them and they are allowed to attack you?

one condition enough to be true?
darkside is considered a place where you can't hit OR be hit with a nade.
there is 1 condition, place where he cant hit nade, so by your logic darksiding is true
The two conditions are "can't be hit with a nade" and "can't hit with a nade". If the two conditions are connected with "OR", then only one is enough to be true. You would be right if they'd be connected with "NOR".
