I don't think anyone outside ea would be a favorite to reach top 4 but there's always a chance for surprises. There are guys like Korydex, NiCo, KinslayeR, VoK, vesuvio, tita, reN etc (some of them have a bad reputation) who could easily put up a surprise. Csongi won the previous EAC, right? VoK beat him 2-0 just before EAC in a preparation tournament's final. Many could reach at least middle positions if given a chance.

The same thing that was "wrong" with 3 worms in 1v1 (you can use the same arguments for 1vs1 and 2vs2). At least some of the reasoning can be found in the poll thread. The game length wasn't the (only) reason when tus moved to 5 worms in 1vs1, not to mention that would be a stupid reason to change the nature of the scheme.

2vs2 should be as close as possible to 1vs1 like it is in other schemes.

Elite: 4 worms in 1vs1 -> 2+2 worms in 2vs2 (equal to 1vs1 cos both players don't need to stay alive)
Roper: 1 worm in 1vs1 -> 1+1 worms in 2vs2 (since we can't play it with 1+0 worms)
WxW: 3 worms in 1vs1 -> 2+2 worms in 2vs2 (since we can't play it with 2+1 worms)
TTRR: 4 worms in 1vs1 -> 4+4 worms in 2vs2 (equal to 1vs1 cos both players need to make a time)

Sbaffo u should be just happy about moving to less worms in singles (unless the fact more worms favors you these days overwhelms your feelings)

Ofc guys with a bad reputation could be excluded. Even taner behaved fine during the CWT though cos he knew he would get kicked out otherwise. I can think of several players who are not assholes and could do what taner did in CWT (or even better).

Not giving everyone a chance kinda takes some of the shine off the victory. We can say the CWT winner is the best of the currently active players. As for EAC we can't say the same. That's my point

EAC should just take an example from CWT and hold qualifiers. For example last year taner went through the qualifiers and reached the last 8

According to the poll most people prefer 3 or 4 worms in TTRR.

From season #52 TTRR will be played with these settings

1vs1: 4 worms per player
2vs2: 4 worms per player
3vs3: 3 worms per player

Let's wait then. On Sunday 2016-08-07 lalo has waited the same 3 weeks as Sbaffo did. Hope that's enough.
