when you say these games are basically the same as playoffs, does that mean in the first 4 games, there has to be 2 roping and 2 defaults?  I also find it annoying that someone can pick shoppa and wxw in the same set... in playoffs rules, the schemes are listed as "shoppa/wxw", not "shoppa, wxw"... can you clarify this?

but I am trying to say whether or not a league is hosted on tus or not is irrelevant.  when it is on tus that just means they are taking advantage of an already coded league and it was convenient to add it. if a league is on a different website, that is fine, they just decided to put it on a different website.  so whether or not it is on the tus site is irrelevant... a league is a league, and right now we have two leagues that showcase a scheme that is in the classic league

I was just counting all of the schemes in the classic league that have a league now, hosted by tus or not.  you argued we have enough leagues.  I said bng would get the ax because you said we already had enough leagues (which is currently at 2).

If the concerns about adding leagues were

1. the scheme has to be active/popular/whatever
2. don't wanna make too many leagues for schemes that are in the classic league
(these are the 2 points i have been seen thrown around)

then on those 2 points, the bng league would be replaced by the roper league...  I don't see how you can argue that adding leagues for schemes in the classic league will make the all-around league pointless when you run your own bng league.

From what I gathered, the league wouldn't necessarily be on tus. I don't see what the problem would be one way or the other.  There is a classic league, free league, elite league, bng league, intermediate league, a spanish league, and most recently a kaos league.  I don't see how roper, being as popular as it is, should be rejected.  A lot of people don't even know there is a kaos league... just goes to show how the addition of a league doesn't necessarily make things inactive elsewhere.
