Ano you get so upset over a simple question.

I just want to know what gives you the right to tell everyone they have no life... especially when cases revolve around this game...

Just tell us what's so special about your glorious life, and stop being a little pussy

What's with ano and sbaffo lately, telling everyone they have no life, losers, etc.

I have seen so many posts, and shout box messages from these two guys, saying shit like that.

Is this just a coincidence? Or do Italians have such fantastic lives that they feel the need to tell everyone else they have no life?

What is more of a loser thing to do?

A) Want to block certain people from your game, so you can enjoy the game we all love, without having people troll, or quit.

B) trolling threads, telling people they have no life because of option A?

Ano- what's so special about your life? I'm just curious.

Marko- a blacklist does suck if you think about it... I do get how annoying it can be when you want a quick game with ppl who know rules, and they just end up quitting... but we are such a small community, the last thing we should do is make scripts that would divide it, even in a small way like a blacklist.

do you know how if you press CONTROL + ALT + arrows, you can tilt your screen??

well i just found this out a couple of weeks ago, my screen turned.. i forget how, or why... so i googled how to fix it, and discovered just have to press ctrl alt up... no problems...

but then, when im playing worms, i cant exactly pin-point when it happens, but im pretty sure its when i press alt (thats what i use for space) up and right keys at the same time...

my screen goes black(and turns to the right, if i cntrl alt dlt, i would see its turned to the right)... then i have to hit ALT and UP at the same time to get back into worms (from the black screen) but at the point.... if im on my rope, when i get alt (because its my sapce) i fall off my rope, and lose turn...

even if i dont lose turn, im losing a lot of times.. its cost me several games already, im pretty sick of it...

any suggestions?

tus forums are great lately... keep it up guys

this is not tus forums, its not a place for chat, its not a place you really even have any business, if your looking for some nice peaceful tus interaction.

this is the COMPLAINT thread... people COMPLAIN here.... so, hate to break the bad news to you gabriel, but everyone is surely going to keep up the complaining, in the complaint thread.
#188
Senator how come some times you follow the rules, some times you dont??

in my complaint, you, or MI (not sure who) clearly said bng is the only scheme big maps are not allowed in, it is even mentioned in the rules... there for all other schemes big maps are allowed it both agree...

now a big map is played, and your going back on that?? this game should be void, it was a game hosted against TUS rules...

do i agree with the rule?? not reall... in my honest opinion, bng is the ONLY scheme that should allow bigger maps, its ironic that TUS has it as the ONLY scheme that does not allow it lmfao... how twisted are the rules???

i said it myself last week, after my complaint, it would open up a can of worms if you did not fix the rules (which i been practically begging yall to do) next week we are going to see someone host a big roper map... and the week after that, there will be big t17

you need to state what is acceptable in the rules, and whats not.... but as of todays date... big maps are not acceptable in the rules, and the game should be void.

ps: Kaleu, nice OP :D

the competition in elite is about... 10x what it used to be...

back then, there were only a hand full of good elite players, now.. just about everyone is good... there is probably even strategies that were not used back in your day as well...

you will get owned robone!! get used to it :D

hell yeah!! good to hear! :D

as i said, you dont have to play hours each day... just once in a while pop in for some games, maybe find a clan to join and have some 2v2 clan games...

you will find its pretty relaxing after a stressful day, and most of all... fun ;D   hope to see you soon man.

i would come to play with you now, but im in a clanner ATM.

i guess the age difference plays a big part in it, i never considered that...

being that you started in your 20's im sure you had better things to do, and it was not a major part of your life... for me, being that i started at 12 or 13.. it was a big part of my life, especially being that i was just discovering the internet at that time. i was completely consumed with worms, there was not enough hours in the day for me to play worms :D

so, i just could never imagine leaving the game, and never looking back... but as you mentioned, i guess it depends what age you started playing at... that makes sense...

anyway, you should take your wife's advice, and install the game... its not like you have to play like you used to.. just casual games, maybe even some league games.. i use worms to relax me.. at the end of the day sometimes, ill get on worms and have some games, can relax, and not think about any stressful shit in life, just toss the worm around the map :D

hope you come to ag sometime rob. peace.

So, im not totally sure i remember kradie.. but since i been back this past month, i have had some games with him, and talked with him in AG.. and from what i have seen/experienced, i thought he was a pretty cool guy.

but @ the forums, i have noticed a couple people calling him very annoying, and i can see where they are coming from...   but is that just a few people's opinions?? or is that the majorities opinion?? is he like.. the next DoubleTime?? or what?  i sure hope not, i thought, and still do.. think hes a cool guy... hes never done me wrong, im just wondering how others feel...

anyway, back on topic:  Rob, yes, back then i think the average age of wormers was 12-18 i would say.  now if i had to guess, i would say the average age is 25-35??

I have some questions, that i always wanted to ask a real old, old schooler... guess i never thought of it when others came back, but now that you here, and im thinking of it, i would like to ask...

so, when you did quit the game, did you just totally erase it from your memory??  if you did not save the CD-rom and come across it from time to time, would you never have returned to the game/forums??

for me, i never really left the game for long, i have had many many many 1 year breaks, 2 years breaks, 3, and even maybe 4 years break, but i always had worms in the back of my mind, or kept in touch on forums... i think because i never got involved with any other games (mainly for the fear of getting addicted, and wasting too much time, as i did with worms) it was easy for me to stick around worms for so long...

but i always wondered how people that spent hours and hours, and years and years on this game, could just disappear and never even google to see if any leagues are active, or try to download the game to see if Wnet is active, or even just to toss yourself around on the rope for old time sake.

so in short, i guess the questions are:

have you ever thought of the game, without coming across the CD-rom?

have you ever had the urge to play again in the years since you been gone?

have you ever wondered if people still play, and/or old schoolers are still around?

when you did decide to search for a w:a league/forum/community... were you surprised that w:a still had an active community, and were you surprised to see so many old schoolers that you knew from back then?? or did you expect this?

these may seem like odd questions, i just really have always been curious how it could be such a big part of many peoples lives in the past, but never check back in.

#193
Yeah, soon as you said hex, I remembered.

Then crazy confirmed it. Nice link crazy....

And yeah rob, I'm 31 now.. so if this was 15 years ago, I was 15/16

Wow dude... can't even believe it...

I'm trying to think what clan we were in together, but can't think of it, I also literally just woke up... maybe it will hit me later...

We were pretty tight back in those days. Can't believe you came back after all these years.   Can you think of the clan we were in? It's really driving me damn crazy right now...

Anyway, what state are you living in?  I'm in FL
