Leagues General / Re: A New Real Private Fun League.

I'll quote for example 2 guys forbidden to this league: Tita and Random (sorry dudes, but it's the truth, you only play for win and forgot what fun Worms is).

Maybe that's your opinion dude, for some people playing to win is the thrill which they get their fun out of. I don't think it's wise also to point your finger on 2 guys, i know loads of guys who like competetive play more than sense free funners/warmers whatever (me included :)).

Ya, I must confess that i wasn't too motivated to play my games...

Koras, this cup has been going now for so long that we simply lost interest. :) Wormi would answer you tho if he had read your messages. DarkOne, you can advance Koras and Nail i guess, i dont think Wormi and me will get the games played anyway... not sure about him though, i'll ask him.

Leagues General / Re: I am sick of tus schemes!

I remember Wyvern had a Team17 winning streak (the scheme you so complain about having a huge luck factor) in some league (i think cbc-wwp) of like 200-7 or so. I think that speaks for itself. :) Anyway, i think HHC said it all. Not much more to add to that.

i think all schemes have to be revamped, and not just the weapons in the crates...

No, they don't. And i don't think this thread was started because people want revolutionary changes in the schemes but to change the existing schemes so it simply fits better. Also none of your examples makes sense either. You know there's a big variety in skills of the players which play this league, it's not like there are Mablaks or Random00's all over this place. :) Apart from that i don't get all this breaking changes in schemes thing... these schemes which you want to change revolutionary and so advertise those work in leagues for years, people enjoy the schemes as they are.

And now you guys even bring Team17 up as a scheme to be discussed about it's several (imaginative) luck factors... where will this end? Which scheme will be next? You know the question you should ask yourselves is that if you lose and blame the circumstances, the things which you have no influence on, is it really all luck or bad luck or am i a bad loser? Of course i can make things easy for myself and blame the scheme surely... on the other hand take a look at Worm Olympics, the several leagues for Worms and take a look at who wins all the stuff. Yes, it is always the same guys. Strange considering there are so many "lucky" things in this game huh?

Its like a love affair.

WR is new, sexy, slim and wearing the hottest linginre. HHC can't help himself. BUT wa is caring, loving, familar and the one he can share his most imtimate secrets with. He'll be back, and forgiven.

That was kinda the nicest transcription i could imagine, gj. :) WR might be nice on the surface but at the moment you dig a bit deeper W:A has so much more to offer. But well, each to his own i guess.

Leagues Complaints / [SOLVED] #38389

Double report by TaG, pls delete it. You might also want to change the wxw #38387 into players skime and chakkman on RoH side... And a little slap on the butt for lacking brain would also not be so bad. :)

My long post which i lost said dont ban anyone and if people who are on their whichhunt for bans don't like it, then so what.

People asking for more justice, but soon as you do that you'll get people complaining for bans and posts being deleted and topics closed. You'll never please the community.. People should just have enough maturity to ignore zippo. If you don't like him don't play him.

If u complain about his comments and stuff. Ban him from forums, take away the game features of viewing texts. If some guy who u found annoying kept drinking in your local pub you would not ask the landlord to get him barred. And you wouldnt be so immature and sensetive to start drinking in a different pub. Although that option is there. Zippo and crash should not be banned if they are not breaking any rules. Stop your witchhunt. This topic is like a medievil purge and its retardly frustrating how so many of you appear to be so sensetitive. Grow a set and just leave them be.

For me it is retardly frustrating to see this necessary discussion on how to handle people that kick every rule on this site in the ass degraded to be a witchhunt on 2 players. And to see things completely turned around when people now blame the community to create guys like that. You know they have been like that before TUS, they'll be like that after TUS. As simple as that. Well, if you guys like a worms league site like that, you know with all the trash talk, cheating and stuff like that, go ahead. I remember TUS wanted to be something entirely else in the past though. But hey, maybe we all forget our roots when the shit comes up. :)

Chakk, I fully sympathise with what you're saying there. But I also recall a certain bungeerace cup where you were reluctant to kick someone out who was misbehaving  ;) (you could chalk that experience for the first paragraph, Uber). You might also note that I never asked you to kick him out either, but rather to address the multiple complaints of just one game.
I'm not reminding you to criticise your decisions in that cup in any way btw. At the time, I was really pissed at how things were going, but in retrospect, I think what you did was the best way to handle the situation.

Well you got a point there i guess^^. The difference imo is though that FaD was given a 2nd chance and i told him he's out if there's anymore trouble concerning him while the notorious cheaters, attention seekers or whatever here get their 1000th chance and still get away with it without having to face any consequences.

MI, i just read your post and must say that i don't really get your point on how you advice to solve the obvious problems on this site.

You know you blame people to give too much attention to certain people who are only into destroying this, saying that they are responsible for all this to happen... why did you put up rules on this site then anyway if noone gets punished when breaking them? Punishment by ignoring?? Come on... you know, the person that should be first to blame for you is yourself then. By putting a site like this on the internet you actually performed the 1st step to give the attention-seekers a platform to post their rubbish. That is why in every society/community or anything there are responsible people taking care of cleaning up the rubbish to protect the people that enjoy the benefits of this society or community. I don't see that on TUS, and i'm delighted to see other people get fed up with the shit here slowly too now.

Sorry dude but it's your job to do something when things go wrong, and to tell people to ignore notorious attention seeking no-lifes and people that break the rules every day is not a clever thing to do, no it isn't.

Edit: Note that i don't write this because i hate Zipp0, Doulbetime or anyone else, the names don't matter. I hate when people think they can do everything they like not caring about others and destroying what they built up and they get a "Oooh he's not such a bad guy, he just needs a bit of ignoring, in fact the people that don't ignore him are the bad guys becasue they give him what he wants. :D" instead of a well deserved pedagogic kick in the ass.

Schemes / Re: Franz

You also had 2 or 3 crates which you would have done (attacked after) if you hadn't made a mistake... i also don't see that Zippo had remarkably easier crates than you, you probably had like 2 harder crates than him in the whole game i guess. The fact that he did some mistakes in the beginning should equal that though, if you had played perfect (which is hard enough of course) it would have been your win.

I think you should post a replay from a game in which you didn't do a 1000 mistakes. Would be easier to judge if u were crate raped or not then you know... unless you don't call missing to hide properly a mistake of course. ;) And you did nearly every turn.

Challenges / Re: Weekly TTRR Challenges
August 23, 2010, 12:12 PM
I think the main point why not more players approach the challenges is that most don't have the courage to report their times if they are 10 seconds slower than the record is. I don't think more tricky maps would help there... it's just that people should report their records even if it's slow, there's no shame being 10 seconds slower than a Mablak e.g. :)
