Tech Support / Re: Superfrontend frontend resolution problem
« on: June 05, 2020, 09:00 PM »
So your desktop resolution is 1280x1024, WA frontend resolution 1280x1024 and in-game resolution 1024x768?

Try these
Code: [Select]
[Misc]
EnableModule=1
Resolution=Custom
CustomWidth=1280
CustomHeight=1024

You do know that your in-game resolution could be 1280x1024 as well (or any 16:9 resolution for example), right?

I use 1024 because it's better for me to see. I tried your new settings, it's giving me the same results as before.
Also, super graphics makes the frontend icons crowned, although it makes the ingame resolution smooth.
How can I take a screen shot? I'm getting a blackscreen when I use Print Screen key.

Those are not default settings.

Code: [Select]
[Misc]
EnableModule=1
Resolution=Auto
CustomWidth=0
CustomHeight=0

[Magnification]
FontScaling=Default

Thx, but still the same problem shown in the second screenshot.
SuperGraphics=1
AutoScaleMissingGraphics=0
SetInternalResolution=Auto
CustomInternalWidth=0
CustomInternalHeight=0

I never touched the settings under [Magnification] and I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve. Maybe StepS can help you with this.

It should work fine if you just adjust 'Resolution' under [Misc]. Auto, desktop or custom (then add customwidth 1280 and customheight 1024, for example).

Just did what you said, the screen is still cut.

[Misc]
EnableModule=1
Resolution=Auto
CustomWidth=0
CustomHeight=0

[Magnification]
FontScaling=Off
SuperGraphics=0
AutoScaleMissingGraphics=0
SetInternalResolution=1280x1024
CustomInternalWidth=0
CustomInternalHeight=0

tried with both wkD3D9Wnd enabled and disabled.

Tech Support / Use anti-aliasing with directx9
« on: June 05, 2020, 05:16 PM »
So guys, I'm using a screen which is 1280x1024 resolution, the internal game resolution is set to 1024x768, this with wkD3D9Wnd enabled. I need to get rid of the aliasing, tried to adjust wormkit settings via Nvdia control panel, have set anti-aliasing and all, it's not working. Also I can't use directdraw because I'm streaming the game with OBS.

Tech Support / Superfrontend frontend resolution problem

So how can I fix this?

Using SetInternalResolution=Classic

Using SetInternalResolution=Auto

The frontend is not being stretched.

I use game capture. Same thing that I do to every game and it works in every game, but in worms there's this access violation problem.

Have you tried what I told you?

Not interested. But thx. I already knew that it's possible to capture the entire screen and that's the method I used to use when I was still learning how to use OBS, but today I need my stuff to stay anonymous while broadcasting to the entire world.

You may wanna read answers after seeking for help.. :)
Thx Senator for pointing him out. Gl with streaming siegel.

But I'm reading all the answers.

Alright, I'm supposed to use "wkLobbyCmd.dll", but I don't know how to use the command. I'm inside CMD window and it's not working.

He meant window capture. It doesn't capture the entire screen. For that you need to run WA in windowed mode using D3D9Wnd module.

I get it now.  Just tried it and it worked. So far so good, although I still have to using Control + T twice to unpin the mouse. But now the window is too small. Is there any way to set a custom size without use SuperFrontend?

Try Ctrl+Esc instead of Alt-Tab

Also try Ctrl-G to unpin the mouse

Ctrl + Esc gets the same result as Alt + Tab, but worse, because it opens the start menu.
Also, ctrl + G has no effect whatsoever.

I'm getting a Fatal Error every time I use alt tab twice while playing and using OBS Studio do capture the game's screen.

I suspect it's because of "graphics-hook32.dll", but I have no idea on how to fix this.

Having troubles with d3d9wnd lately as well. When alt+tab I can't actually go out from the game to another window (chrome, discord, etc..). I see them appear but it doesn't wanna go into any. So I need to go back in the game and shift+esc (minimize). It also gives me red cursor in the middle of a screen, plenty of times, even when alt+tab works. So I need to do double alt+tab to get rid of it. Most annoying part of it all is that sometimes taskbar is shown in the game while playing and there's no way of getting rid of it, except restarting whole pc.

Don't know why. This all started maybe a week ago. Guess we need to be patient and wait for 3.8 to fix it!

It's been ages since I last played, so now I decided I was going to live stream, only to find OBS can only capture the game screen if I use Directx9, but then I can't alt tab. The only solution I found for this is by using Window Mode then pressing control+ T in game twice, this will unpin the mouse, then allow you to use Alt + tab properly, but still that's pretty annoying.

I'm using D3D9Wnd to run the game with DirectX9 and Windowed mode. I'm on Windows 10.
Enabling the option NoTopmost in wkD3D9Wnd.ini won't fully unpin the mouse. Every time I play I have to manually unpin the mouse using Control + T twice, if I want to be able to multitask. Is there any way to leave the unpin feature enabled?
