Perhaps 30 days is a bit too long? I'd go for 2 weeks tops, maybe even less, to keep things entertaining.

Kinda sad to see statik quit, was a nice run, man. I actually like the idea of best performance being done, but you're right, it should be done after the challenge's expire date, thus the shorter time frame for it.

I dont think the world cup football would be better if it were bo5 all matches. Sure there's more luck involved in just 1 game (or 'just' 3 games), but IMO it's ok.

I find bo5 to be in a perfect balance between not taking too long and limiting the luck factor to the minimum. bo3 is great for giving weaker players a chance, but that kind of contradicts the cup's title. All of the previous elite pwnage cups were played in a bo5 manner in knockouts stage if I'm not mistaken, and there were no complaints. But I guess to each their own.
