Why do I keep getting emails about stuff I couldn't care less? I just got an email about eS, I don't care about eS, why do I get these?

How do people send these announcements? Shouldn't that be a privilege to the administrators of the site so they can inform you about stuff that is related to the whole community, such as new rules or anything like that?

It's not your fault, it's a flaw in the site, that's why I notified them.

Set email as hide, its so simple

Nullum I don't think hiding email will work in this case. When I modified SMF to accept private boards, I wasn't aware of this announcements. noted

Yea, also, the links in both emails were broken, said "There is not content or it is off limits to you.".

Because it was eS private board.
