Well, I love elite more than some ea members, enough to be one of the best at it. But I thought you implied that a number of people didn't do much and were pretty much just in ea for the cup.

mostly went mad cos u said would only join cos EAC .

Of course, I would participate in other ea things, but probably only on the competitive side. Not gonna be hosting funners every day, but I would assume other ea members are in the same boat.

I really doubt all EA members love elite much more than other schemes Also, joining a "scheme" community just because you like the scheme doesn't make much sense... I think EAC is a good reason to join a community for some1 who likes elite, but I don't decide anything there

I just tried to sum up the main reason from those who voted no.
I guess the following sentence was the cause for the most 'no' votes:

random is 100% right... that part is what did it, i cant speak for every1 in ea but i can say elite is my favorite scheme, and thats what this community should be about

Not sure why my love of elite is being questioned, I definitely like it more than some of you. And not everyone in ea has elite as their favorite scheme, so that shouldn't be an issue. What's with this logic, clearly loving one thing doesn't imply that you like something else less.

Where is this coming from, why are you assuming I'm just interested in cash? I am interested, as is everyone signing up, but I want to play against good players and ea is the best place to do that.

It was taken as an obvious fact considering big cash on stake this year + no buy-in and you didn't bother to join the community earlier. Also, some people took
