Hunger Games is a lot of fash, but I really enjoyed the other 2
Human have always indulged themselves in violence, either by partaking in it, or viewing it as an audience. The Roman days, gladiators were combatants, fighting other warriors and animals. This is because of displaying of power, and wealth of aristocrat and other high elites. Gladiator games were also held to distract the public from political issues, as well as economic reasons.
The Hunger Games aren't that much different though. It could be a future we can see, but not likely anytime soon. However, recently, sometime I think in 2017 Russia, Survival Games were held in Russia? Called ''Game2: Winter''. Arranged by some elitist with tons of cash.
This is Equilibrium:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0238380/''In an oppressive future where all forms of feeling are illegal, a man in charge of enforcing the law rises to overthrow the system and state. ''
This is what we are seeing nowadays, cancel culture, filtering and suppressing what we can and cannot say. This is typically practiced by the far left SJW and media.
