personally, I wouldn't be the same person.

I didn't know english when I first started playing W:A. My grades were the worst in the class.
but the experience of communicating with people here has given me english knowledge that no courses or lessons will ever provide.
I speak with people in english everyday now.

I like to think that W:A gave me an understanding of the mentality of people from different countries.
I remember how playing kaos has significantly changed my sense of timing in the daily life. probably helped with strategic thinking too.

And it's probably the game that gave the most fun.
I like how there is no grind and dopamine hooks in the game, all the fun comes down to the fact that while someone is making a turn, you can chat with other people.
In fact, most of the game is not an actual gameplay, but just communication with people from different countries of the world. The game is really more of a "World Party", than an actual game. that name was very fitting..

Pretty sure W:A had a huge net positive effect on me, bigger than any other game, and probably more than studying at a university xD

I could have 10 more kbs and propably 5 years of life less waste

I will say, it's not a waste of time though can definitely say for sure at times it's super frustrating when you want more of the things you like but there's only so much we can do with the limited size and interest.

I really wouldn't be the person I am without WA though due to the people met over time.

For me? I would probably play another game, or be active in real life in fitness or some sort. I am a very practical, fun and engaging guy.

On topic - if wa didn't exist, most of us would spend lot more time outside than on pc. At the same time, we would be denied for a great gaming experience.

MonkeyIsland did a good thing removing those posts because they never made any sense to have in the first place.

Here's a Interesting questions: What if.. Those posts never existed in the first place? We would have had a more friendlier and cleaner topic. Additionally it is a good opportunity to recognize that it was in our very own nature that lead to those posts. We can do better people! I believe in you all!

I would've played more of whichever games I could get the satisfaction of creating stuff for. My main example is that I created 8 or so tracks for Trackmania games. Other games I only created 1 or 2 things for. I did have lots of coasters/tracks for Roller Coaster Tycoon on my website, but downloading other people's coasters for that game was kinda pointless.

I'm not sure other games could totally live up to Worms in that regard though. I would've spent more time programming, creating websites and weird audio and everything else too.
