I think Randoms point was that you didn't dominate us in "every way possible" - you just won playoffs and played way more games than we did. We got a higher winning percentage and won more games vs cFc.

Ok fair enough, not every way, sorry, but Seasonal/PO, generally, we did.

The overall points are supposed to show how strong a clan/player is. If 100 points are played by clan A and the overall points stay about the same, that shows that the rating system works as it should and depicted clan A's strength accurately.
Ratings shows up people's relative strength, e.g. if clan A has 200 points more than clan B, that means clan A should win about 75% of the games against clan B.
If in 100 games, clan A wins 75 games, then that's a good result, no doubt. But it's a result that accurately reflects the rating difference. Therefore, the rating difference of 200 points should still be there after those 100 games.

Overall points have nothing to do with seasonal playoffs, so it can't be considered punishment.

No matter how many times you repeat this crap, it's never ever going to be true, because so many other clans do not play as much as they can when they can and care/not care about who plays what, i've said both care and not care because there are clans who don't take it seriously and clans who take it seriously.

So what I said, is still true, no matter who wants to deny it, or who wants to try and look smart by repeating the same crap, I already know.

Why can't you understand this? It's bloody simple. You keep going on about "this statistic and that statistic equals this statistic" and you all sound smart but what you ALWAYS fail to take into account is the simple fact theres no damn rythem or flow in this League, if it wasn't for people/clans who avoid/carefully time their games.

For example, I am not saying this is a bad thing, each are good in their own way, honestly, I am using it as an example lol:

CF - They play very very seriously, way way way more serious than any other clan on WNET, they almost never play without their strongest team on, how often do you see them play without their 1 man army Random? I loved our CF vs cFc games this Season I think we got on pretty well and had a laugh, I really really wanna do that more often, I even posted in their forums before asking for a 8 game, every scheme, with best squads on, but they never got back to me on that really, I think Rene posted "cool idea" and that was it lol.

cFc - We are guilty of both here, we have members who take it serious and never want to lose, and we have members who just enjoy playing and don't care about points, lalo couldn't believe it when we lost PO to CKC the other day and I literally just sat there rolled a joint, smiled and said I enjoyed it, I wish it was that cool to lose to everyone else, I think during the last game lalo was preparing to leave the house in fear for his life incase I took a mad turn...

So you see, it's pointless to say "it reflects your skill level" when it clearly doesn't, it reflects more how "professional" a clan is and "how serious" they take it.

Like, why should I be called an avoider or lame just because I care more about winning/losing than others? I don't want to play Elite/T17 because I KNOW I will lose, it's not a case of "might lose" it's "WILL lose" I don't see the point in suicide, that's for idiots... Seriously lol, watch the Elite cFc lost to mm, me and oldsock, the most pathetic thing you will ever see lol, but I enjoyed it, because at the time it was funny and a good atmosphere, well, until the BnG lol.

I've said this a million times and I seem to be the only person to realise it, the Overall Points system is a joke and will not work because there is no "set way" of playing Clanners, because some take it seriously, some don't and some varies, we should introduce handicaps or f@#!ing something to make it more realistic, cuz i'll tell you this for free, CF and cFc wouldn't appear so strong/good if every single clan tried their hardest every time, if everyone else played every scheme against everyone else no matter how good or bad they are, I'd be f@#!ing estatic to do it myself, in fact it'd make me wanna play even more.

The rating system doesn't work for this game, it never has, and never will, just f@#!ing accept that already rofl...

my best advice? harness this passion of yours into a detailed solution. that's what many did before this new system was put in place.

Yah, Seasonal points is great, it's nice to play for Season Standings now xD

Every idea I have had so far is owned simply because people can play whenever they want as much as they want, nothing can't be abused with this point system.

But for now I said to lalo, i'm just gonna play as much as I can with madog and him and not even think about points, play what we want when we want and just aim for PO, because the gameset we had with CKC was more fun/furfilling than the short times we've actually been at #1 Overall, I shouldn't take it so serious.

Oh, and thanks for not being a bit selfish and acting like a prick like some of the others +1

Have you tried talking to your clanmates about focusing on the overall standings a little more instead of blaming the system all the time Dave? I think that would make a lot more sense than ranting about how everything is unfair. <3

You don't seem to understand what statistics are about. Statistics say something about big numbers. If you take the above example, then if you play 10,000 games, you'd win 7,500 of them if you're in clan A (plus or minus a few). But within those games, you may have a winning percentage of 90% in the first 100, a winning percentage of 30% in the next hundred etcetera, etcetera. Everybody has their good days and bad days, which influences your results for the better and the worst and so ratings don't say all too much about the very next game you're going to play (although it does help in predicting), but it does have something to say about the next 100 games you play.
