Hi

In about 1 in every 20-30 games sometimes i get a problem in worms where my keyboard freezes up and my arrow direction key gets stuck. So the worm carries on walking in that direction, aimmer gets stuck or ss flys straight into myself (This just happened in a clanner and now im pissed)

Once the key has stuck down it happens untill the end of my turn. From here rest of keyboard turns off in w:a expect for esc. I can't press page down or page up to get into the chat and carry on wasting turns with keyboard not responding.

I normally have to miminize once or twice to regain control, then press page down and when chat box opens i know i have control again.


Is this a bug issue or my crappy laptop?

Do you use a key remapper? I have the same problem with AHK, but only when I press all keys fast & chaotically

I downloaded one to try and get around keylock. But i don't use it.

This happens to me time to time. Mostly when something force my WA to minimize. For example if I'm holding left arrow and the game gets minimized, then my worm will keep walking. The only way I find to fix is to press that buggy key again. In that scenario, I have to press left key again and the game will finally release that key. But sometimes it is hard cause you don't know which key is causing this.

To fix it I begin to press all the keys on the keyboard like a madman and It usually works xD

its really difficult to get out of at times, like alot of minizing and hitting the keys don't release it. Esc will work but the rest of the keyboard is totally useless, only happens during the turn. Not when chat window or anything is open..

I'm thinking there's a program in the background becoming re-activated (and on the 'foreground'). I had this just once, a few weeks ago. I think i heard a little beep or something of a program (could be norton, or snooper, not sure) and the key got stuck. Had to minimize and shit.
I'm not sure what I did that made it normal again. I probably activated a different program (winamp or so) and then went back to worms.

Calling something "stupid and obsolete" doesn't make you sound reasonable. Many people use it here, but anyway, what do you recommend then (something smart and modern, please)?
