Description:
.: a2b League proudly presents :.

***   The a2b Championship Cup   ***

.: The time has finally come for the ultimate BnG Cup :.

**   Free entry   **

**   32 players max   **

**   Cash prizes to be won   **

1st place: £50
2nd place: £25
3rd place: £15
4th place: £10

a2b Championship Rules:

  1. No straight bazooka shots.

   2. No sitters.

   3. No repeat shots:

          * If you hit someone for 34 HP or less with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until you have either hit them with a different one, or you or they have moved.
          * If you hit someone for 35 HP or more with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until either you or they have moved.

   4. No 5 second grenades unless used with low gravity or max bounce

   5. All shots should be aimed to explode on impact with the opponents worm - No 3s grenades with 4s fuse, no rollers.

   6. Re-aim the crosshair between every turn, regardless of whether you landed a hit last turn or not.

   7. Don't teleport too close to your opponent's worm (try to stay at least half the map away).

   8. No notching unless you can't help it (ie, your perfect aim is 1 or 2 taps off vertical).

   9. No telecides (teleporting on your opponent when you have low health in order to inflict grave damage on them).

  10. No defensive girders, only use girders for bouncing nades.

  11. No Darksiding - You are not allowed to use a hide where you cannot aim directly at your opponent - If you are pushed into a hide and all you can do is zook/bank grenades, you may attempt up to 3 return shots and if any are successful you must move immediately to a hide where you have a direct angle to shoot towards your opponent, this prevents players hiding in such a way that their opponent has no means of a direct shot giving the "darksider" an unfair advantage.

Groups - Best of 3

Knockouts - Best of 3

Final/3rd Place Decider - Best of 5

When deadlines are in place, there will be absolutely no 2nd deadlines, anyone who fails to finish their games by the 1st deadline will automatically forfeit and be removed from the Cup

The Group stage deadline will be 1 month, the Knockouts stage deadline will be 2 weeks, and the Final/3rd Place Decider deadline will be 2 weeks also as they are Best of 5, if we have any reason to believe anyone is avoiding their opponents or stalling without good reason, they will be removed from the Cup, if you enter the Cup, you accept responsibility to finish your games on time and accept the consequences if you fail to do so

Anyone who breaks any rule shown above will automatically lose and will be disqualified from the Cup

The b2b community will judge any incident of any rule broken that seems intentional or unintentional and will decide if such action is necessary

Janoox, you are being removed from this Cup, you never replied to either of my PM's, especially the last which was 75-76 hours ago.

You completely bailed on me from #AG last week, you were in #AG saying "warm ne1" and when I confronted you to play the a2b games you mysteriously dissapeared after claiming you didn't know about it.

Prankster, you were next in Group 4, so you will replace Janoox, I am confident knowing we will get the games down by the end of this weekend.

Janoox, before you even think about complaining, Since the Cup started there were warnings about Deadlines:

Quote from: The a2b Championship Cup: Description

Plus I have posted numerous warnings, sent numerous warnings to ALL participants through PM's, and on top of that I have sent you numerous PM's personally trying to organise our games and with the "Final Warning" and you did not respond, at all.

This is a professional event (in my eyes) which I have put ALOT of effort and time into organising and hosting and I will moderate it professionally and as strict as possible to ensure it runs smoothly and fairly for all participants, no one has been treated differently from others, may I stress that even if any b2b member or fellow clanmates (including myself) showed poor effort towards this Cup, they would also be removed.

Now, as I am typing this lacoste Vs obscure is in motion, I wish them both the best of luck !

I would have watched but I am watching "Lesbian Vampire Killers" :)

All the best everyone :)

Come on people get a move on? There's so little time left.

Komo really made an effort for this one, organized things very well. All participants like to bng and yet you show zero will to finish your games. I don't really get that. How is this different from any other cup or tourney or whatever, wtf is the problem? :)

At least post here some updates if you're in contact with your opponent and if you have things organized.

Personally I'm waiting for Random to reply to pm lol.

surgeon, if AnGsT does not play you by Tomorrow when I get home from work:

7:30am GMT, simply because I will be at work when deadline ends, you will be proceeded anyway.

Yeah i've been sending them many PM's for the last week.

Oby has been on for the last couple days trying to organise something with GreeN, I texted GreeN earlier told him Oby will be on at 7pm GMT to play the games so hopefully he turns up.

I think surgeon said this morning he was PM'n Ramone and he hopes to get the games done tonight, fingers crossed!

Just logged on Wnet, GreeN Vs obscure just started! I will join them on the 2nd game :)

I asked oby if he wanted to play about 4-5 days ago, but he said he will wait till end so he can practise, which is fine, I see him alot anyway I know we will play, I dunno what's up with Random and masta ziom, maybe they have organised something, I have faith they will play, both Random and surgeon have a very good record of doing their games on time.

Sorry for acting like an idiot in the end. The shot you made is really not easy and you were just playing better; so you deserve the win ;)

Good luck in finals.

Hmm yeah Random, surgeon sent me a PM and asked me about this but I do not have any games to check, if surgeon can report the 2-1 win, then I can check the games and see what's up with the 3rd game.
