Description:
The Long Desired Intermediate Cup

Heya people, it's been a while since the last Intermediate Cup, I thought now is the time for another. Everybody is free to participate regardless of skill level, clan, gender or race. The only requirement is that you are willing to play your games in given time.

Rules and Schemes


- Rules concerning glitches and map choice are same as the ONL rules and the ONL scheme is the only valid scheme.
- Games in the group stage are best of 3, best of 5 during play offs and best of 7 in the final.
- in case there will be people with same amount of points in a (finished) group the won/lost rounds will be considered. Won rounds minus lost rounds equals the difference. The player with the higher difference proceeds. If the difference is the same a tiebreaker will be played.

Deadlines


The deadline for group stage is set for July 17th 23:59 GMT. It is not possible to postpone a game beyond the deadline no matter how important your reason seems to be. Be smart and play your games right away.

Use this forum to arrange your games to enable a smooth monitoring and easier decision making if a walk over has take place.

Unfortunately I had to void your game, because intermediate is supposed to be played with 8 worms per team, I thought you'd know. :/ I'm sorry especially for you LeTotalKiller, you worked very hard on making the game happen.

I have voided the game: soldier vs pizzasheet.

This cup has certain rules and I want all of the games to be played accordingly. Not only soldier violated the best-of-three regulation but also repeatedly abused the "mouse walk", which is a forbidden glitch. Therefore the total result remains at 0:0.

Should I perceive similar behaviour in future I will not feel any shame by excluding him from competition. And I do very much hope soldier reads this and explains his attitude. "Not knowing" will not shelter him from the consequences.

What Do i Do??, I won 1st Round Against Soilder (he surrended half way) then in round 2 he lagged and timed out half way in game , then we did a rh and he lagged out again half way in game. and has never come back online.

What do we do, Do we have to play bo3 again?, is confusing cause he surrendered in 1st game which means I should keep that win?

Oh Pizza-Pizza, you used the wrong scheme, maybe you missed that it was updated, because it was wrong first. There aren't supposed to be crates falling at all. Please download the right scheme. Only because the outcome of the first round wasn't influenced by crates I grand you the 1:0 lead in this best of 3 series, but, please, use the right scheme next time and finish the the best of three.

When I open a cup I expect the participants to play their games in time while following the rules and at least sometimes check this forum. soldier seems to have troubles with the latter two. Although it might sound a bit hard: disqualifying someone for "mouse walk", but I made my point very clear. Meaning: I am excluding soldier from this cup.
