Description:
Flying Fart Studios
Presents:

3s - Development Cup #1

So there we go, the first ever (just not last, please) "3 seconds" Cup with its main purpose to get some insights into how the scheme works in real competition, check for its flaws if any and possibly tweak it for something better + most important - to have fun. Everybody is free to join under only one condition - make sure you play your games in time.

Rules:

- 6 worms per player
- Play on randomly generated, complex island maps (make sure you avoid having too many closed spots by checking map editor's preview in order to decrease chances of having too many worms unable to "walk / fly" out)
- Knockouts are bo3

Forbidden bugs/glitches:

- Skip walking using the mouse
- Jumping after Pneumatic Drill or after Teleport

Deadlines / Proceeding:

This cup's purpose is to be relatively quick so we can start next one without huge delays, meaning deadlines will be important. Group stage wont take more than 2-3 weeks depending on players count and proceeding will base on activity if situation isnt clear. One week deadline for knockouts.

Any problems regarding cup's course will be solved by me.

Oh, and just like any awesome cup we have special prizes (to brag in your profile lmao):

- 1st place -
-- Mablak --

3s Battle Suit - Only the quickest human beasts can have pleasure to wear such artifact.

- 2nd place -
-- Berria --

Expanding Foam Polyfilla - just awesome.

- 3rd place -
-- Casso --

Insanely delicious baking - with little suprise inside.

Very nice guys! Thanks Jakka for hosting :)
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

Thanks to every participant for taking part.
Congratz FaD! What shall happen to your prize money? Should I donate it to this years CWT or you give me your own PayPal data?

I thought about hosting either an elemental or kaos cup in near future. What do you guys think of that?

Incoming confirmed.

My previous question is still unreplied:
Did you like or dislike the double-elimination knockout system?

I certainly prefer DE over standard KO system. But I don't think anyone else is visiting this thread anymore to answer your question.
