Can someone please verify who is right and who is wrong here, I am really confused now and doubt I know what GMT is anymore...

summer time issue.
Italy (and Germany as well) is GMT+1 in winter. In the summer it's GMT+2. So Komo is right.

Yeah in Summer UK is +1 and in Winter we are GMT even.

In summer cuz of prehistoric daylight savings things change so you're basically gmt+1+1 or gmt+1

What you on about prehistoric? I thought daylight savings was in place for a good reason? I don't know much about GMT etc all I know is it's 10 to 5 right now in UK so I know TuS is 10 to 4 and Poland/Italy etc are 10 to 6, I know nothing else lol...
