but as superman fell in love with lois lane, he pushed his idealism aside.
stalin got very angry about this and tried to get hold of some kryptonite to kill superman.
as that didnt work out right (but thats another story), he tried another thing: Stalin's half-man, half-ape super-warriors

but as superman could also defeat those, stalin tried one more thing.
he liked the mutant idea so he teamed up with Dr. Josef Mengele:
