[SOLVED] How big rr clanner works?
« on: June 17, 2013, 07:17 AM »
Hi everyone.

We played a bigrr clanner yesterday. I finished 1st, other clan 2nd and 3rd, my clan mate 4th. Is it draw or lose? Because i thought like, 1st get 4 pts, 2nd get 3 pts, 3rd get 2 pts and 4th get 1 pts. 4+1=2+3 and draw i thought. But they said 4th get 0 pts. Is that true?

The replay: www.tus-wa.com/leagues/game-149036/

Cheers
Triad

Yes, becouse it's TEAM game, for egzample me + Barman big rr vs Triad and Killer and I ploop my worm at start becouse i know Barman will win anyway.... it's no sense, to win BOTH players need to win. (4th player not finnished)

1st 4 points
2nd 3 points
3rd 2 points
4th 0 points

Big RR is turn based. Given the fact that Triad finished first (and start first), we calculate based on triad's finished turn.

Triad finished. 0 turns (base)
Jot finished 1 turn after that. (2 turns, but since Triad started first, it gets counted as 1)
Chelsea finished 1 turn after that. (2 turns, but since Triad started first, it gets counted as 1)
KILLER would have finish on 2nd turn. (Chelsea shouldn't have plop his worm).  (3 turns, but since Triad started first, it gets counted as 2)

0 + 2 = 1 + 1

It's a draw.
RM the game and attach the replay here.

Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

1 + 4 = 2 + 3 = draw, yes.

I think a draw-game will / could be deleted then and after it you can just play a new game with new members if your opponents accepts it!

This Report could be only rematched with the same members if it stays I think or delete it and do a new Report when somebody won. But actually that only matters if there were other games between your first Report of draw and the rm with new people.

HF and GL with ur rm =)

Same players must play in draw, unless CAT agrees with your place change.

doesn't it work like in bungeerace, chuterace, battlerace etc etc. ?

team 1 player a finishes on turn 7 team 1 player a uses 7 turns to finish the map
team 2 player a finishes on turn 20 team 2 player a uses 20 turns to finish the map
team 2 player b finishes on turn 21 team 2 player b uses 21 turns to finish the map
team 1 player b finishes on turn 23 team 1 player b uses 23 turns to finish the map

it's a team game, there's no adding of turns or anything like that, team 2 got one of each's worms to finish earlier than team 1

I see my error, ofc team 1 player a would surrender after he/she has finished... so team 1 player b would finish before team 2 even tho he uses more turns

indeed Husk, why bother counting turns? The winner is who has 2 worms crossed the finish line first.

put afk / skip / use different colors

I think if first clanmate finished race, second mate must have 2 turn,

A B vs C D

if player A finished, C - B - D - B - C - B - D - B ...

golf, races too, i think...

Don't make it too complicated. Of course all get the same quantity of turns.

Victory: Clan A ► Positions 1 + 2 (of course) OR positions 1 + 3 (because it is better than your opponents positions 2 + 4!)

Draw: 1 + 4 or 2 + 3

Loss: 2 + 4 or 3 + 4
