If people like the option, you could just amend it by saying:

-For the schemes Team17, BnG, Elite, and Hysteria, if one team requests it, the host must use a unique (never played by himself or his clan) random map generated in the in-game editor for that specific game (so you must left click on a map template until getting a map you like). You may edit the map with the in-game editor if such editing is obvious, though the map must still be unique, and no using .PNG files.

And I think it would be useful to include shopper and roper. There should also probably be a rule regarding map choice if the host refuses to budge, like having a moderator host, since the hassle alone would probably force people to come to some agreement.

In short, one can always ask a hoster to change a map. E.g. I don't like hard elite maps which always turn into bng. Actaully I don't play elite much, but at least random maps are easy and funny to play. I think this won't be a problem, and maybe it's already in rules, I don't know

Mablak, you can't left click and get BnG maps that way, you have to fill bottom and delete top, or you get short maps.

TUS is not a drama paradise if you compare these forums with the past leagues forums, it is pretty civilized and only friendly heated debates from time to time. Watch Home and Away if you want real drama

My word. And also all saved Elite Maps. Its okay for giving the community some example, but just note those maps with a big "EXAMPLE" thru the whole landscape. So this will show everyone, it isnt to play, but it should give an idea how a map could look like.

i like these rules on maps, and krd's comments. (i wish krd would be play.. its been too long)

i love the mario shopper map and will pick it, but if someones request it i'll use a different map. But then what if people just request a different map for the sake of forcing a cave shopper map? After all, it is someones pick..

TUS forums are actually cleaner than what it used to be angus. There are complaints thread which get hot time to time and people seem to read a lot into these topics. If you try to ignore complain threads, the rest are living their normal life.
Also "we" should notice it is not a baking or cooking recipe community to happily taste our dishes and enjoy. It's a game, there are winner and losers, there is competition and wherever you have those, you will have drama time to time.
