ropa does bring up a good point though, the general league rules don't mention scheme rules.
Perhaps a line should be added that scheme rules can be found in the description of the official league schemes (with a link to the schemes page)

MonkeyIsland

@LeTotalKiller,
Yes. Same goes for groups part.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

ropa has a point. It kinda gives people to upload rules to their scheme uploads and tailor them to their preferences. We never got round to having a set "scheme rules" text went back and forth between me and MI for awhile.

on the note of afr.. its one of these rules that kinda has come into play over the years. Indeed in shopper its more common for afr to be accepted as a league rule.

I prefer shopper without afr and cows, ss, axe, minigun but that probably won't happen again lol
No afr wouldn't do a harm, it's people's choice whether they want to do it or not, i think for the sake of simpleness wxw and shoppa should have the same rules though otherwise it would get complicated as people would probably complain, players would be confused whether there is no afr in wxw too or not and so.

To be honest, I thought WxW was more akin to roper than to shopper as you need to rope through the entire map before you can attack in WxW. Regular shopper maps have a different layout, so roping through the map doesn't even get you close to running out of time, it's a completely different dynamic.

Personally, I find the afr rule a bit pointless in shoppers :) It's not exactly hard to finish your move in time and attacking from rope gives you the benefit of hiding your worm. Not attacking from rope only takes that option away, so it's better to attack from rope. But rules are rules!

All informations about the rules are here:

As you can see, ktl and afr came later (before rules were pile cba abl ktc).

@MonkeyIsland: btw it would be nice to be able to translate countries' name please.

well, so youre going to consider changing the scheme rules and having them in an easier to find place and find a way to navigate through them that makes sense?
MonkeyIsland, my friend, I know your english is terrible and your understanding of society limited. However, in real life, people attack and humiliate others without the use of a single bad word. They even go to war with lengthy politeness. You can't base the whole moderation philosophy of a community based on the use of bad words and your struggle with sarcasm and irony. My attack to Jonno was fully justified and of proper good taste.

IMO each scheme has a personnality. Like people, they change, according to the time.

AFR and KTL were introduced because the scheme changed, due to usage. Who knows what will be Shopper's future? Maybe rope will be replaced by jetpack, or ts will have to be enabled, or you'll have to attack the biggest pile (if there is a pile)...

But these rules would only be introduced if (almost) everyone uses them.

I know you would insult me if I say something. How old are you, err... check your profile...

You're so coward that you don't want to tell your age. So I suppose you're a kid.

So kids like you don't accept to be wrong, they think they're always right, but they're usually not due to their lack of experience (being wrong is normal). Kids can maybe think they're always right, but they must respect the TUS rules too when they're on TUS. And TUS rules says don't insult people in games and also on the site (and I know them, because I had to translate them to French).

*Having some troubles with my brother, a kid. He hurts my head with the joystick because he's wrong, gj. Now he's wrong x2.*

Now let's suppose you're an adult, or at least, a teenager. People who insult everyone don't have a good life, because when we get insulted, we want to revenge, not to consider the person as a good one. Insulters can even get jailed, and I don't think that's what you want. Well, anyway, you don't think, so do what you want and don't complain when you get punished.

If you want to fight now, you'll right do that against TUS rules and TUS staff. I have other things to do, such as relaxing after talking to kids.

i accept my warning for telling that guy that hes full of shit.
my question is why didnt he get one after proving my point?

ways are important but ultimately i havent said anything unreasonable, in fact i stand stronger now about my original claims.
im trying to help here, i dont know how much if at all you value my input but if your goal is progress youre warning the wrong person, influenced by populism which isnt the same as democracy, youre listening to the vocal majority as opposed to the majority period or the intelligent minority.

i retract in my ways but i stand by what i said, that french guy hasnt provided this thread with anything other than bullshit. and if thats the way things are still being done here (as in, being an idiot is encouraged as far as you do it politely) then im rather better off with the distraction of this website.

i was direct in my terms, some people might think i crossed a line, but i felt i needed to be because the derail the french wrote deserved no respect, believe it or not ive saved many people by preventing them from reading a bunch of shit, an utopia of sorts, a really simple argumentation that does nothing to improve this website, id say some people agree with labeling such shit as the kind that comes out a bull's ass.

You're reading too much into it and that's doesn't sound much like you.

You gotta notice the fact that there are many ages/races/cultures involved in TUS. You didn't get a warn because what you said was untrue but because you chose a wrong way of saying it. You could simply ask the guy that this is not what we are talking about and ask him to read the whole thread if he's gonna post. (Or you could completely ignore him)

I know it may sound cheesy but this community isn't big enough to afford losing members. (No matter how they are)
