Leave BnG in Classic, Remove Hysteria, Add intermediate (bo1/bo3). !

avirex

lmfao statik!! n1 :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

what is the talk about removing bng?? where did it even come from??  as much as im not a huge fan of the sport, i still believe it deserves its spot in classic.... there is nothing more classic then bng and roper, those were the 2 ultimate/dominate schemes on w2 *cough* (wa changed both schemes for the worse) i cant see removing either from classic...

as far as hysteria, thats just some joke scheme that some guys came up with for a laugh, and a hysterical time... im not sure who ever applied it to leagues in the first place, but it was a huge mistake, (mainly because as husk said, everyone is afraid of change) there are huge flaws in the schemes, that could be fixed, but no1 wants to see change

if people dont wanna change the schemes to fit the needs of classic, then its an excellent idea to change the classic :D    nuff said ae

HHC

lol statik!

BnG is about as classic as it gets. Whether that makes it a good league scheme... no, it doesn't.

But still, I suppose BnG should be there 'till the time people make up a decent alternative. Fort is nice, but it takes a little long and it's almost always a time-down till late SD.

It could work fine, but you need simple forts for that, or two simple mirrored islands. With perhaps a wall in the middle that you're not allowed to hit. That would make some nice BnG/Fort mix, but then, people would ruin it with their notch-shite.

avirex

how is "notch shit" ruining things????

why do you say it ruins anything exactly?? what part of somone taking the time to learn the full mechanics of this game ruining things???

does it ruin the game when somone knows the exact spot on the head to stand and drop a dyno in order to send the worm the farthest (right or left) for plop?

does it ruin the game when somone knows the best spot to explode a sheep for max damage??

does it ruin the game when somone takes the time to learn to "swoosh" perfctly, or "pump" in order to speed up in ttrr?

does it ruin the game when the newbs who love hysteria practice key combinations until they are able to LG + JP + FP all in 1 seccond??

does it ruin the game when ppl learn great timing on rope, and scroll like a boss??

so why shou it ruin the game when some learns the mechanics of nades?? its just taking advantage of the angles, and powers... its not ruining anything.. stop saying that :X

**no i do not know how to notch**

Kaleu

Why aerial is so mainstream? This derivation of hyst just arrived in worms, im not "oldskool" but I would consider and think more about Inter..

franz

you could alternate seasons THL/TEL

both popular schemes, but we know both could suffer from too many seasons in a row

Peja

ye lets remove one of the most classic schemes for forts where the best player has played unbelievable 23 games so far. sounds like a perfect way to increase the quality of classic league.

Yes ruin, its ridiculous when 1 player plays like a CPU-5 robot and not by their instincts..
Are you writing this only because your clanmate does it? If I remember well, in the past you disliked notch.

Nope. It's more like 10%, similar to chess. Source:

As for the games being too long, making Intermediate Bo2 brings it on par with several other Bo1 schemes in the league already, so that shouldn't be a problem either, not to mention playing two rounds evens out the starting first "luck" perfectly.

Ramone

I've already said this once upon the time, but the best and easiest way to do it is to make every scheme separate league and find a way to calculate points for the best allrounder of the month/year from all those stats.. . No needs for "classic league". "free league", TRL, TEL, w/e... Every scheme has it's own league and it's simple as that. ..???

HHC

I don't know. I've kinda lost sight of everything.  :(

Prankster

Ramone: there would be just the same questions, we would have to specify which schemes make one an all-rounder.

Also about an earlier thought of MI: I don't think a2b on TUS is a good idea. It's not just a simple BnG league with a2b rules. There's a very big amount of philosophy in it, those rules are more like guidelines, than strict and ultimate rules.. Anyway, if we can keep it invite only (and might keep the points system too), then maybe, but I personally don't really see the point..

There are no questions at all. All schemes = All-rounder... Simple as that.
