i have never heard of giving out money on Halloween..

anyway, cool costumes jay, upload more pics...

we had no halloween in my state this year... we had a very bad snow storm 2 days b4 halloween, and it took down so many trees (because the leaves were still on all the trees)

and the trees took out all the power lines, there was so much damage, my entire town lost power for 1 week, i just got my power back, some are still with out... its been a crazy week...   they issued it a state on emergency, i think i will be getting a fat check from FEMA because i lost all the food in my fridge :D so thats cool

but yeah, halloween was canceled for the first time ever! because there was so many power lines down, so it was unsafe for the kids.... but i been wroking my ass off there is so much work removing trees, i went out and bought a nice chain saw and i been making bank :D    easy money is the best money!

Halloween is an American thing :P

LIES! it happens all over the world. And if you wanna get technical it was actually invented by the Celts, Irish Celts to be exact (my ancestors in fact, which may explain my enthusiasm)

Sorry America.. you can commercialise it, you can use it to sell candy but that's not what Halloween. You cant have it!  >:(

That's right people the UK is responsible for everything from the combustion engine, television, the radio, trains, electricity and Halloween to name but a few.

Your welcome! xD

they weren't responsible for the TV and Radio. LIES

Also not electricity!
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

Go do some research then come back and admit you were wrong :D

You will find that a few people tried to claim the invention of the radio as their own due to political reasons etc. It was made in the UK

And TV was invented by John Logie Baird a Scottish inventor, I doubt (as an American) that you will know where Scotland is, but trust me.. it's in the UK xD

Also not electricity!

Electricity I was wrong about though. I copy pasted a list a found online and didn't check it (here http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_Has_England_Ever_Invented) as I was only messing around not publishing an article for you to mark our of 10 lol

But yeah, I should have checked it.

And besides, Electricity has always been there, what do you think Lightening is?

Trust an American to claim credit for it! xD

Electricity got "discovered". Happy now? XD

If I'm not mistaken, most of our daily use of electricity, the way it works, goes to Nicola Tesla which was Serbian.
