I just beated this map:

in one turn, so decided to make this topic and share it with ya all :D

Maybe it's possible to make px script for this? i dunno shit bout px but we have tallented guys here like Pyroman for example  :) would it be hard to make a px mod that allows ya to control speed o' the sheep? with 1-5 keys maybe?  ;D

yeah thats pretty interesting. So you wanna say use lower speed to be able to play on tight maps?

with ProjectX its possible, for sure :) i already worked on it with RodeoSheep (not released yet). Maded it to fly slower when goes up and faster, when goes down (affecting additional weight, coz worm is kinda sitting on sheep when flying on Rodeo superSheep)

oh wait, i think i get it. With possibility to control sheep`s speed in realtime, we can fly faster on easy paths and slower on hard paths. With will be a time-trial, coz  finishing time will depend on your skills and what speed u`ve been using to go thrugh the map.

Thats interesting and probably worth work on it. And looks like its not even hard to do that, though. Just slight adjustments for SS formulas. The only problem that can appear - is too fast rotation on slow speed and too slow rotation on high speed. That`s what i get with Rodeo. But its not that hard problem. Fixable. Adjustable.

well, not all that sweet as it looked like.
i just tryed and remebered what kind of problems i had when been working on PX RodeoSheep

I will need to write my own SuperSheep script, becouse WA SS doesnt uses speed values to fly, it uses position changing (its hard to understand difference for those who didnt see Worms Classes, but anyway).
That means, that if i will increase speed with scripts, SuperSheep will easely fly through thin walls. And when we gonna use ttrr maps for that - whole map is made of it and game will be f*cked!
So what i can do - write my own SS script, where those factor will be avoided and control of the sheep will be even more under my control. I will try get exactly same flying formula, to dont affect on existing skills of player. Also for speed control would be handy to use Shift and Ctrl, to boost and slow down the fly, while those keys holded.

so i`ll write my ssr script (or mb find some other tricky way)
Then will post results in a few hours or days. Stay tuned.

You have it remapped?
well i can make few key combinations. Shift/Ctrl;  Z/X; O/P or even Up/Down (SS uses only Left/Right for turning, so its free)
and player would be able to use any of those.

P.S. i`ve found alternative methods, script already works. I think i`ll put scheme here next hour.

no, Shift is for other moves + multiple presses can make a surprice

shift uses only for movement, when sheep flyes worm cant move anyway, I dont see a problem here
