I got one question about maps, because MonkeyIsland can't help me. How to convert original T17 IMG maps to PNG?

Open the map with a program like Paint Shop Pro, then just save it as .PNG

That simple :)

You are referring to the .IMG files in the data folder of worms armageddon?

I remember I read somewhere how to extract the textures and images from those compiled files, and I believe it was in the CL2K (R.I.P).

But together with that I discovered two or three programs and also zipped packages that do that for you, can't remember the name, and if you find it, PLEASE, post it here because I lost all my w:a files when I decided to leave this game some years ago.

From what I remember it was called something like "spriter", worms textures, spritexture or something like that.

Please don't forget me :D

This is all Team17 mission maps in PNG format, in case anyone is interested:

Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

WA in-game editor can read these .img files, you can simply open and re-save them as PNG.

In preview mode, you can click the "Reseed" button to change the arrangement of terrain objects (holding shift while pressing Reseed will backtrack).
Right-clicking the preview button will change the map to a full-colour format that can be saved as a .PNG

or you can just use this, with support for W2/WA/WWP IMG files.
http://worms2d.info/IMG_Viewer
it will convert to any format
Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it
