Been enjoying TUS since the day I joined. And after all this time, I still enjoy playing for the leagues and cups, the tournaments and challenges. And there's the forum and the shoutbox too
(not to mention the maps and schemes database).
I can't even imagine what WA would be like without a site like this. I'm pretty sure all the nice and good players would give up on it pretty soon. I know I would
MI, and all of you admins, you're doing a great job. Same goes for all of you TUS players. There's a few bad apples, agreed, but most of you still manage to uphold the values of sportsmanship and friendship in general. I'm positive that we can succeed in overcoming the damage done to our little community by cheaters, hackers, raging noobs or simple 'dumbs'.
It's a shame that 90% of the precious time of the admins is consumed by a small group of people who, after all this time, still don't seem to get it.
I wish they would take some time to reflect on their position in this community. Perhaps that would lead them to re-consider their contribution and urge them to approach the admins and fellow players of TUS with a more positive and forgiving mindset.
Let it be known that I do not take TUS for granted, and am thankful for it every day. And I'm sure this goes for a whole lot of people here. Our voices may not be as loud as that of others, but we're definitely here!
TUS will always be in my heart. Even the times I lost important games, I was always happy to be part of the competition. Especially at times I played my best against a totally awesome opponent. The result was sometimes negative, but I was always proud when I (and my opponent) managed to deliver a great spectacle. I guess that's the feeling great athletes get as well when they are part of a 'historic' match like a world cup final or a very close formula 1 grand prix.
You can win a match by yourself, but a great game requires two players.
Through TUS, I have had the honour to meet remarkable players and astonishing individuals. And together we made it happen
TUS rocks. Always!
Let it be heard!
