HostingBuddy - multiple rounds
« on: August 22, 2014, 03:46 AM »
I've finally added some basic multi-round capability to HostingBuddy. Please give it a go.

(I know, this should have been done years ago...)

I just fixed this. It should work now.

Note: So far the only involvement I've had in coding HostingBuddy has been fixing the player numbering on 2009-10-07 (so it would correctly recognize which players disconnected in-game), and doing this light-up fix just now.

Except that in Ab's case, maps duck because you can't fine-tune them to remove bridges and blocks.

tbh sometimes i think that always removing bridges and locks is not a very good idea cuz it makes game kinda tame and even more easy than ab is by its core and why play always on islands lol its just silly.. look other schemes like inter even there u could play on caves and bridges and whatever.. so plz dont make ab so ridiculously boring lol dunno how u guys even still play this lol add some spice to this xd sorry for offtop

Then you don't know me - I don't count the times I suggested to play deciding games in caverns. But blocks (and by extension bridges) ruin the game by making it unfair; on top of that bridges makes Kamikaze combos too easy. So I'm looking for ways NOT to ruin the game.

Would have liked to discuss it further (even privately) but fine by me if you want to stop it here.

Back on topic, I still think it would be cool to offer the option to change the bridge count in HB for Abnormal, for those like me who don't really like bridges.
