strange bow behaviour

check this replay at 17:00; the arrow hits the worm, reduces health and gets stuck in the ground afterwards.. have you guys seen that before?

I've seen it happen before, it's an old bug feature. I don't know exactly how to replicate it though.
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

This is a rare move which is very hard to explain, probably the mask of the arrow hits the worm and the ground at the same time and with a precise distance (I suppose one pixel within the soil). It happens because the arrow stop only at one of the predefined locations as you can see in this gif:
