Hey guys,

Its being quite a few years, probably not a lot of people let around here who would remember me.

I was looking online at Worms today for some random reason and see they have finally released a new game.

Just wondering has anyone tried it? Is it any good? What is the state of WA these days?

Any old schooler's still around??

Hey Jay!!

Contrary to most people 'round here I've always enjoyed W:R. The online service is crap though.. that's why I quit playing it.

It feels buggy at first, but I like the whackyness of it. Playing fort on it is a lot of fun too. Rope = MEH.

WA is what it has been for a while. Same amount of players as when you left it, maybe even more.

So its not worth downloading then would you say?

Just had a look at wormnet, and got a shudder when I saw the amount of shoppers and hysteria's being honest.

Where is the good old BnG gone :-p

Though in saying that last time I was on it, it did look exactly the same lol

lol. Yeah, not much BnG around there. But there's still the b2b community. It's not completely dead

Depends on what you're looking for in W:R. Like I said, I've always enjoyed the game myself, but the poor state of online play made me give up on it.

If you ever feel like trying it out I'd wait for a special Steam offer though. It's kinda silly to pay 20$ for it now when there's a special discount almost every other month. Just a month ago it was 75% off.. for 5$. I would wait for one of those deals if you intend to give it a shot.

Back in my day we had games on computers, not these fancy Smart Phones they have now!

It is a bit mad thinking of it that way.
