Most maps turn out to be good for elite, no matter if they are open or tight, simple or maze-like. The problem is with people who use only one type of maps all the time and start to complain as soon as an opponent picks something they are not used to. I once even wanted to start using cavern elite maps on a regular basis, but the opposition was too big, so I kinda gave up the idea.

These things go in cycles Barman, two-year or three-year cycles where one type of map is preferred over another. Right now there's a wave of non-edited enthusiasts, but things were quite different in 2010: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/schemes/elite-maps-4692/ The kind of map professor hosted now was how most maps were hosted at that time, and I'm not exaggerating...

So what kind of maps are in the wind in 2015? Maybe Cavern

u are absolutelly right, Crazy. That's good for the elite scheme, and i think cavern maps will be really insane

I just keep picking the 2010 maps because it's good maps and i didnt know how to make maps like https://www.tus-wa.com/leagues/game-135050/ but for now i ll read the guide and i ll start to make maps according that standart.

ah ofc it wont be 100% no edited but i guess random maps is kinda open to play elite, imo.
