I'm reporting this as he abused the darkside rule, then disconnected when HP was 196 vs 44 and never came back to #AG.

It was his pick also.

I haven't watched the game yet because I am at work but reading conversation, if this is because he used a girder to reflect your grenades or something you are actually allowed to use 1 girder anyway you want, interested to watch this game in the morning :D

I actually like that rule, but I just thought lol, you are allowed to use a girder in anyway you want, but does the darkside rule still count with this girder or not? Will have to ask about that...

Btw, instead of saying "read rules", why don't you just copy and paste the rule you are discussing instead, that's what I do to shut someone up :D

Check the girder, he couldnt nade out and I couldn't shoot in from where I was without some ridicilous bounce. Isn't that what the rules basically say?

Its a ridiculous move, crap like this shouldn't be allowed, that being said, you should have just tele'd and pounded his noob ass into the ground.

Well, there has been a bit of debate about this before, we've tried multiple times to have an update on the darkside rule, but anyway:

Darksiding rule -  "Darksiding is not allowed. A darkside is considered a place where you can't hit OR be hit with a nade. Simply teleport/move to another position."

This rule needs to be way more specific, for example, you can teleport to a darkside, or be pushed to a darkside, should they both be labelled as a darkside? According to the rules if you are pushed and can't return fire, you are darksiding... I smell shite here...

On the other hand, the new girder rule says you can use 1 girder for "anything", using that technically it outrules the darkside rule lol...

Anyway will watch the game in a bit, just home from work wanna chill out get some food first :D

btw Komo, the current rule is "No darksiding. Darksiding is hiding your worm in a position where it's impossible for your opponent(s) to hit you with a grenade and at the same time impossible for you to hit your opponent(s) with a grenade. Simply teleport/move to other position."

I think it's currently allowed to stay in a darkside if u are pushed there. It's just not mentioned in the rules. But when u push your opponent to a darkside, couldn't it be regarded as a reward for a good shot (u force the opponent to move)?

"No girder usage restrictions" doesn't mean u can break other rules at the same time.

Edit: Watched the replay. Wasn't that a legal move since NxC was able to hit Free with a nade (at least after he shot once with sg)? And looks like he dropped, he didn't quit.

No it isn't? It doesn't say that on any the scheme pages, where exactly is this in any rules?

Afaik, that is from KRD's scheme suggestion thread, it hasn't actually been implemented.

However, it's a good rule, I hope this is true :)

Afaik, darksiding only applies to a player moving their own worm, it was me who actually coined and made "pushing" a thing.  ;D

"No girder usage restrictions" doesn't mean u can break other rules at the same time.

If that is true, then it obviously has restrictions lol, should reword it.

It's here https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-992/

That is the scheme from Season 32, and the rules there have actually been modified since then, I didn't even know about this  :o

They should have kept this scheme as it was so people could still use it for whatever reason, and upload a new official scheme.

That's great to know though, i'll bookmark it in the meantime, thanks :)

Common sense.  Use it.

Lmfao, I did use common sense numbnuts :D

"no useage restrictions" - What the f**k do you think that means? LOL!

If there ARE restrictions, it should say so, you can't go saying "use common sense" when common sense was not used in the 1st place when writing the f**kin rule hahaha!

"BnG is played without TestStuff"
its already modified. they just decided to modify the current scheme instead of going back to the original, which makes more sense because of the untouched girder rule.

I think "BnG32" has been the official scheme file since it was uploaded, see www.tus-wa.com/schemes/?leagues;sort=league and "This scheme must be played in Classic league(s)."

I don't know about u Komo but when I read "no girder usage restrictions" and "no darksiding", I don't come to a conclusion that girders can be used for darksiding. The phrase can be easily fixed, though. And for the record, I didn't word that "no restrictions", I just copy pasted it from the experimental season thread.

Ok to start with, all scheme rules should be in one place so they are easy to find for everyone, not just adventurers...

I didn't even know how to sort the schemes out by League or whatever, it should be easy for everyone.

@ Peja - It's been modified since it's original status, in more ways than 1. Also, if they can edit "BnG32" as official scheme, why didn't they just edit the original scheme(as in ID #1)? The one that most people know...

Senator, I wouldn't use a girder for darksiding, my point is the rules are written in a way that provides loopholes for someone who understands English enough, and people could use it to play unfairly, regardless of what your opinion is, it could also be confusing for someone who doesn't understand English too well:

"No darksiding" & "BnG is played without TestStuff and girder usage restrictions."

This can give someone reason enough to place girders to darkside.

Also for someone without a good understanding of English, could also imply there ARE girder usage restrictions but doesn't mention what they are lol.

I know, because i've seen it too many times to count lol.

It's messed up in more ways than one lol, it wouldn't take a lot to fix either.

Actually MI put them in one place some months ago (Leagues->Rules->Scheme rules):

https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/rules/

He forgot to replace the old "Scheme rules" links on the leagues basic info site, though.

That was quite lame...

By no means a girder should be used for that purpose.

Period.
