It would be fine with me if there was a racing rope scheme, but 5 of them, counting as separate schemes for POs is absurd.
With that logic, one could say that there should only be 1 default scheme in Playoffs because counting them as separate schemes is absurd.
Elite, Team17, Intermediate are all strategic schemes. The core concept is you need to out-think and strategize better than your opponent. Though all the intricate differences make them all wildly different in experience.
The roping schemes are the same in that they are defined enough and differ from each other enough to rightfully have their place in the Playoffs.
The style of roping required for each scheme is different.
Take Big RR and TTRR for example, these 2 schemes have an impossibly high for a human skill ceiling. One consists of maintaining full speed over multiple turns in larger areas, where as the other requires more focus on quick bursts of acceleration and stability in tighter areas. There are very few players who are at the top tier of players in both these schemes, because of this neither of those schemes is more challenging than the other because they are always both challenging to the absolute human limit.
Then you have Roper, Shopper and WxW, where the maps all differ, the roping style differs, and how you use weapons differs making them slightly strategic as well.
To say it's absurd to include these, IS absurd!
Meanwhile, most enjoyable schemes are only in TFL.
That depends on who you ask.
