vn map! congrats!  ;D

U should ask Dulek to get this one into TTRR challenges!
To me it looks like a perfect map for some of the TTRR challenges..   .  What do U think?

DENnis there were a white version of this already submitted. Remix of each other?
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

I didn't know that!  :-[
And it even says the author is stringking, and I've thought Dennis made it, silly me!

However, still looking good for a big rrtt challenge  :P

Hah Masta, U have submitted a record, n1! :D

But yeah, the fact that it's such a big map is the reason I thought it would be interesting for a challenge..
In regular ttrr challenges U can try hundreds of times to get your best time, cause if U make a mistake or fall, it's not a big deal, it doesn't take U much time to have another run.. But the long maps (like this one) requires a lot of patience and persistence to set a good record on it.. ;)
And yeah, it might be boring to watch a long ttrr replay, but then again, why would U wanna watch it? It's the record time that matters.. ;D

Anyway, I ain't into ttrr, it was just an idea that crossed my mind.. ;x

I'm not sure, I think the author stringking has only uploaded his color updated version now, http://wmdb.org/21268 at his profile http://wmdb.org/users/stringking, because I can't find the white version nomore there. The ropelayout looks identically to me. So this red one should be the standard updated version and I added the red to the white map now.

Edit:
And it even says the author is stringking, and I've thought Dennis made it, silly me!

I didn't know that MI uploaded a white version already, but he asked me to submit maps I know. So I look if I can find the name of the map and its author, then I click "load this map into the editor" to add the map to tus' map database, too.

stringking actually made this map in white originally, but he decided to remake the map in red because he realized that the white version made one's eyes bleed (i.e the map was too damn bright!).

the unlineary parts of this map is cancer, beat your time, though, dennis.  :P

Ah, thank you for the information, I guessed the same. So the red map is the fixed version and could even replace the white map, which was like a beta (map test) then. Very good job with that time. In my run I had two bad fails and some slow parts. It isn't easy to get a "failfree / smooth" run on such a long distance, I'm impressed.
