TUS Discussion / Re: How to delete my account?

After that, developpers don't give a shit to my point of view tho, so it'll just keep going.
Why would they reply to your posts then, and explain you why it is not possible to get an account deleted? It's not like they give a shit, just because they don't bow down to what you want.

There still can be player name with no other informations tho.
Why? What's the point in not having your anonymous Wormnet nickname related to the database of game league site? I think both MI and KRD gave good arguments for remaining the statistics intact by not deleting user accounts. And the several "I want my account to be deleted" posts have only one purpose in common, and that's expressing that those users are pissed off in a way and want to turn their back on this community with some drama. Really i don't see any reasons why accounts should be deleted, it would only mean a lot of extra work for the admins here, alongside with messed up stats, and i don't think that's a desirable thing.

This is really a bad map. It's all flat on top!

Install game, apply latest patch (it will download everything for you, depending on the version of your game, it's an all-in-one installer), done. :) And i highly recommend using Direct3D 9 option with shaders in advanced options of W:A, it runs even more smooth now on my system.

General discussion / Re: Resolutions

Depends on the size of your display. If you have 24" plus, you should go for 1920x1080. I have a 22" display and it's a bit tiny when i use 1920, so i play with 1600x900 which is great too. But with 1920, you have a view over a whole standard map, which gives you a great overview. Generally i would say, the higher resolution, the better.

How do U have 1600x900?!?! I have 1920x1080 and next one is 1400x1050..

It depends on your monitor, and the supported resolutions, what is showing up in Worms. If your monitor doesn't support 1600x900 it won't show up i think.

Thanks Professor. We're actually a bit more than 5 years old. That 4 years shows the time it was registered on TUS. I forgot to set our birth date. :)
No happy birthday from me then.  :P

i must admit that the same happened to me with a mm forum post.

and some fos stuff.
No, as far as i know, i've never been in any FoS topics.

It is all fixed now though

in which way?  you cant access? or we just cant see you in the topic logs?
I can't access any private forum anymore. As MI said, it was bug on his side which he fixed. And it was a thinking bug from darkz and me that we thought it was part of our work to be able to access private forums as well. At least i figured so, when i realized there were private forums in my "Recent posts" overview as well.

Actually the threads from the private forums also popped up in the "Recent forum posts" view, so it was easy to accidentally click on one of the posts. Actually i must admit that the same happened to me with a mm forum post. It is all fixed now though, so no more spieing from now on, eheh.
