Newschool is better than oldschool.i don't play intermediates with russians, but i watch them host the shit out of them. and i bet there is all kinds of great videos of people playing well. not interested in spending my time watching worms replays though, got better shit to do then that. and i don't know who you are comparing the players now to because i sure as hell didn't see any darkszsz playing the top shelf players back in the day. not saying the people that play now are horrible or anything, i just haven't seen this orgasm of talent you are referring to.
Sorry but how can you judge today's players if you don't even know them? I'd bet all my money that an allstars-team of 2011 would crush an allstars-team of say 2004. And I can say that because I've been around for almost 10 years, playing all the leagues that popped up and died one after another.
Also, you not knowing me tells a whole story about how well you know the players in this small community.
ryan i use numpad 1235 and right shift and I have no keylocks at all, you could try since right shift is what makes it possible for you to avoid keylocks (shift tends to offer no keylock on KB's since it's assumed you're going to be using it as a combo with other keys, as opposed to space).my old keyboard looked like that kb you talking about ropa. It was an HP, no keylock, space like a dream. My dell shit is f@#!ing cheap, locked up like crazy, the tab key stopped working, blah, blah
it takes very little go get used to, and right shift offers great tapping results in many keyboard
i aslo recommend to change numepad 0 to F8, this will make the setup much more effective but it will take a few games to get used to.
edit: if you're going to buy one search for microsoft internet keyboard pro, and if you can find it BUY IT. it's one of the easier to find PRO ROPING keyboards out there. No keylocks at all. The spacebar is crazy and you can reach max tap speed using any technique, thumb, fr, regular tapping...

Yeah the DHB guy, he was very very good at Default, if I remember correctly, he was #1 when Official Ranks worked.
Didn't BadCereal try a comeback like 3 years ago and miserably failed? Imo he's much like DOPE and MPH, they were great in their time but compared to nowadays they're average.
