Maps Comments / Re: Map #17164, Sandy City by Anamat

The colours are nice but the layout doesn't look too good. If you are looking for inspiration, two of the best shopper maps are 6666 and 29299.

It does work without problem, run as admin after WA started, and before starting any game match. Do options-Game scan, modify values and do options-Execute.

can you save 'schemes' as well, orbdo you have to open the program each time you want to play another scheme?

I haven't tried this tool but it sounds like a trainer. In other words it modifies the memory of the game while it is running. It is not designed to replace SchemeEddy or RubberWorm.

Please add support for changing the speed at which ninja ropes shoot.

For those with Nvidia graphics cards, you might want to set Maximum pre-rendered frames to 1. I use D3D9Wnd for convenience but playing without desktop composition will make the game more responsive.

Schemes / Re: Scheme changes I would like to see
« on: June 02, 2017, 06:48 PM »
Shopper needs LG, infinite zook, glitches allowed, 12 mines, no barrels, 1 second fuse, more weapons, and attack from rope enforced. The reason nobody on TUS likes shopper is because the official scheme is horrible, predictable, and boring.

great snooper is the best, and its not even close, irc clients dont have the features of GS
What features would those be? Any decent IRC client should be able to list and host games.

IRC clients make the best snoopers if you are already using the protocol. Otherwise GS wins.

Ghost spends more time complaining about bugs and cheats than playing the game. In my experience it is best to ignore what he says.

Hahahah skunk being really delusional  in this thread :DDD

Anyways, has anyone good rapper tried Steelseries 6gv2 with red switches yet? Even better if one could compare how it feels compared to black switches. I suppose red's are better once you get used to it.

Currently I'm using Razer Blackwidow Ultimate with blue switches and it's definately not made for roping.

The keyboard itself doesn't make much of a difference. MX Red switches are approximately equal to MX Black switches when it comes to roping. Use what you think you would prefer.

I answered this question in more detail in one of your threads: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/gaming-central/steelseries-6gv2-black-or-red-switches-30601/msg257552/#msg257552

Anyone used this keyboard before?https://www.pccasegear.com/products/34894/cooler-master-masterkeys-pro-l-rgb-mech-keyboard-cherry-red

My current keyboard doesnt have lights hard to see unless i have lights on. Asking about general gaming use not just worms

Most mechanical keyboards are functionally identical. The main differences are build quality, keycap quality, and switch type. I would argue all backlit keyboards come with poor quality keycaps but most people haven't experienced anything different.

If you are asking about Cherry MX Red switches, then yes, they are suitable for gaming. They will likely feel noticeably lighter than the MX Black switches you are used to. I have read that RGB switches can feel different to their non-RGB counterparts. With that in mind and assuming you want a full-size keyboard, this one should suit your needs: http://www.coolermaster.com/peripheral/keyboards/masterkeys-pro-l-white/

Gaming Central / Re: Steelseries 6gv2, black or red switches?
« on: February 22, 2017, 03:00 PM »
I am sure you are already familiar with the technical differences. In terms of how they feel, MX Red switches have less resistance and do not really have that cushioning effect when bottoming out. MX Black switches rebound with more force which may make key releases more responsive.

They are both suitable for roping. Choose the one you think would be best. Your keyboard will not make or break you as a roper.

I am a decent roper and I know a fair bit about keyboards. The links below might be of interest.

Corsair or GSkill ram?

Corsair but it needs to be the Dominator Platinum variant.

Knights or samurai?

The BBCode parser needs updating.  ;)

I don't think I overthought anything as someone who likes keyboards.

I can recommend some mechanical keyboards.

Cherry MX Black switches are probably the best for roping, though typing for extended periods may become fatiguing depending on the way you type.

Leopold make nice keyboards. They have plenty of layouts to choose from and come with PBT keycaps (which are higher quality than your standard ABS keycaps). Here is an example: https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1402

More layouts here: https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=search_list&s[match]=all&s[search]=PBT+Black+Cherry+MX&s[title]=Y&s[cid]=1&s[subcats]=Y&s[mid]=50
