General discussion / Re: KEYBOARD - Definitive ! +Photos

Have you tried the K800? I'd prefer wireless. Do you think any wireless keyboard can be good for roping? I'm concerned about input lag. My current bluetooth keyboard/mouse all-in-one sucks so badly it's not even fun playing simple schemes like Team 17.
If there's another radio device nearby (router, cell phone etc.), any wireless keyboard/mouse will lag due to frequency interference. They only work fine in "quiet" environments ;)

I'm waiting for someone, who'll build an only-for-worms-keyboard/controller =)

Maybe with Teensy ( https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/ )? Maybe I should be that person ;)

If you are into electronics, take a look at Makey Makey - it's a USB device which lets you connect any kind of trigger to the arrow keys and spacebar: regular switches, touch sensors, IR motion sensors etc.
I was going to try making a touch roping keyboard out of it when I was still playing worms, but in the end wasn't comfortable with splurging 50 euro on what might've ultimately turned out to be an useless toy ;)

Logitech Illuminated has had a reputation of being every serious wormer's go-to KB for a couple of years now. If you can wait till you can afford it, look no further.

I'm just wondering. Do you have permission from Alex Grey to sell his art on your products? He's pretty restrictive about the adaptations of his work.

Barman (I believe) have the same keyboard as me and he finger rolls nicely on it.  I don't think you need a keyboard that expensive and be able to FR nicely on it.
Yeah but it's not like I learned it overnight, unlike what you are seemingly trying to achieve :P
Still it's a great keyboard for worms. Spacebar doesn't suffer from keylock with any combination of the arrow keys. Very responsive too, easily registers short keypresses, which is important for precise stuff, like notching or BRing in ground schemes. It takes a while to get used to though, the keys "taste" differently than any other keyboard I've had contact with ;)
Before I switched to Illuminated about 3 years ago, I had a cheap (about $12 equivalent) keyboard which lasted me more than 6 years. This one, except mine had a numpad and lacked these fancy multimedia keys at the top. There definitely are cheap keyboards which perform good in roping, but below a certain price level it's pretty much hit or miss.

30 is maximum.
That's something new to me, can you post a screenshot of the worm placement required to take 30 damage? (I don't have WA installed)
I tested it many times and never happened to get more than 28 without speed damage.

Okay, this seems like a solid reason. Thanks for telling it so much time beforehand ;)
I hope 7 more days will be enough.

Girder is not allowed to use for defense (imo).
/ts is not neccessary.
Repeating is using the same type of a shot (for example, a 4 second full power grenade) twice (or more) times in a row.
Reaiming is changing the crosshair angle before every shot, no matter if you are planning to repeat or not.

Repeating is allowed, reaiming is required.

Dragon is telling false information. Repeating shots has never been disallowed. I also believe you are not obliged to use TestStuff in BnG anymore and the girder usage restrictions still apply like they used to.

It's quite hard to pinpoint the exact rule changes, but the first post in this topic is probably the most reliable source of information. To sum up, all that's changed is:
- In BnG, teleport is now infinite (although it's been played like that a long time before the official change) and shotgun is available (likewise, this introduction is essentially a formality). No other changes, although I'd say you are allowed to play with /ts if your opponent agrees.
- In TTRR, there are 5 worms per team.
- In shopper, AFR has been abolished. There's also a new scheme with slightly modified crate probabilities.
