a2b rules and a2b scheme to be used ONLY.

Rules are as follows:

# No straight bazooka shots.
# No sitters.
# No repeat shots.

    * If you hit someone for 34 HP or less with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until you have either hit them with a different one, or you or they have moved.
    * If you hit someone for 35 HP or more with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until either you or they have moved.

# No 5 second grenades unless used with low gravity or max bounce
# All shots should be aimed to explode on impact with the opponents worm.
# Re-aim the crosshair between every turn, regardless of whether you landed a hit last turn or not.
# Don't teleport too close to your opponent's worm (try to stay at least half the map away).
# No notching unless you can't help it (ie, your perfect aim is 1 or 2 taps off vertical).
# No telecides (teleporting on your opponent when you have low health in order to inflict grave damage on them).
# No defensive girders, only use girders for bouncing nades.

No results, there was 6 of us, tried to do 3v3 but Gal kept crashing, then Gal hosted, we started, game dropped, so lacoste left, then it was 2v2 dead/skime vs surgeon/Gal, dead/skime were winning about 40 minutes into the game and the game dropped, so well this week was pathetic lol.

Why don't we?

This game is over 11 years old, with a damn successful community, surely someone somewhere can think of a way for people to have a chance of securely winning money with Tournaments/Leagues, a Worms Olympics style thing where you pay to enter, the amount of people who enter WO - Hundreds, if every person could pay $20, that's quite alot of money, what's $20? I make that in like less than 2 hours...

200x20 is 4000, split 4000 within the top 10 players or something, if 10 people have a chance of winning some money it would make them more enthusiastic about playing, we have pretty much sorted out all the cheaters so it would be way too hard to cheat for such a thing especially with a wide variety of schemes.

Seriously, I drink about $50 a week at least, even more when I go on a night out.

I would be willing to pay up to £100 every year, for a one-off event with some possibilities of winning something back...

Seriously, let's have a list of people who could afford to spend $20 a month on a league, everyone who reads this, please reply Yes/No would you like to Pay to Play, and if yes, what amount of money could you spend to do so?

It's about time we do something about this game to make it even better, or people will eventually get bored...

The votes so far lean towards 6pm GMT so this is what time I will make it, the time may change in weeks to come after more votes are in.

Ok so the a2b Weekly BnG Tournaments will be back to normal next week as I have finished my overtime at work for the moment.

How many other people that play WA are from Scotland?

I know there was a few that were pretty good years back, but they don't play anymore, and I don't really see anyone else from Scotland on...

Plus, they never put Scotland/England Wales and Ireland as Countrys in the WO... Britain is a Nation not a Country lol.

Well, after another successful 3rd season the playoffs are here again!

A big big thanks to everyone who took part in our 3rd season and congratulations to the players who reached the playoffs:

1st - wormf00d 64% - 75 points
2nd - obscure 53% - 66 points
3rd - Prankster 45% - 59 points
4th - KoreanRedDragon 77% - 56 points
5th - skime 48% - 49 points

Now as wormf00d has chosen to forfeit this months Playoffs due to being too busy to play them, 2nd - 5th will move up 1 position.

1st vs 3rd & 2nd vs 4th.

The losers of the Semi's will play each other for 3rd place, and the winners obviously play for the Final.

I have decided to make this Tournament earlier as some couldn't play last week because it was late on a Friday night, so hopefully this time we can all play BEFORE everyone has to go out and party
