I was in a four-way inter game yesterday, where two worms were skunked. Around the time sd was supposed to start, the worms stopped losing their 5 hp! A couple of turns later, these two worms were the only ones left for sd and their healths went down to zero as usual.

Why did the poison stop having its effect? I'm thinking it must be to do with sd, but I've never seen this before and I can't find anything online about it.

There's a section of the NNN forum officially dedicated to CWT. Some say CWT should have its own forum, but the mods thought that because of the low and seasonal activity level, it made sense to combine it with NNN.

I wonder if a time will come when NNN/CWT will merge with TUS. Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't.

Funnily enough, even though TUS cups are "long" and WO tourneys are "short", the time commitment in any given day is the inverse. With TUS cups, you can play one game per week if you like, but in the WO, you have to be there for hours, with only short breaks permitted (over 15 mins afk and you're kicked out, no?). And often the WO forces you to play at a bad time, i.e. too late when you're tired or too early when you aren't fully ready.

My understanding is that the system rewards activity, so if one player has played more rounds than another, then he goes above him. The fact that it's rounds and not matches means that winning 2-1 is better than winning 2-0, because you've played an extra round! But luckily, the mod(s) decides the final standings (i.e. who proceeds) so the system's ranking isn't critical.

Yep, good games to watch. Regarding the cavern, I've observed that when one team has three worms separated from all the others, that's a problem.
