Personal note:
Assault Course info:
I conceived of the Assault Course in 2003, after playing Battle Races. The idea is that teams of two worms co-operate to get from the start to the finish; one worm alone cannot do it. (In AC1, you have unlimited fire punches, dragon balls, and uzis, and in AC2, you have unlimited baseball bats and cows.) I suppose you could say this is the Worms version of The Lost Vikings.
I advertised the first AC on
Blamethepixel.com, and Bloopy actually made one himself. The concept didn't take off, however, and it was only when I learned that a Spanish clan called OLE enjoyed them that I made AC2. A few years later, in 2007, when the Challenge Base was active, I submitted the Assault Courses there, and it was probably as CB levels that they got most of their plays. Later, in 2013, they had a brief revival here at TUS, thanks to DarkOne.
