Its quite confusing because I think there are only one or two companies that sell these things but they are branded under different names. The Joy ego is considered to be slightly better quality than the Riva 510. The battery is more rubbery and feels more tactile. Its worth the few extra pounds seeing as this should hopefully be a long term investment! There are also modifications you can buy for the ego like a tank system and a bigger battery.

I dont have a problem with people having an opinion. The thing is, "e cigs sux, real cigs rule" doesnt add anything to this conversation. Throsti didnt explain why he felt the way he did and when you can see ive put some time and thought into the first post, with information that could potentially be life enhancing, its just rude to write a dumb statement like that. Its also isnt true, a device that has enabled thousands of people to stop inhaling smoke obviously doesnt suck...

It is true that for some people this simply wont work. There is no way for an e cig to truly replicate the sensation of burning tobacco (yet), or the ritual of rolling your own cigarette. Even though you can read many times about people who used to be cigarette connoisseurs. People who loved every aspect of smoking although had given up completely because they find the concept of vaping to be even more enjoyable than traditional smoking. They find the broad range of flavours and the ability to mix your own liquids appealing, no doubt they also appreciate the fact that in this hobby there is far less chance of dying or risking ruining loved ones lives. I understand that regardless of all that there will still be many people that prefer the sensation of traditional smoking so much that the e cig will not work for them. If that is the case I can understand.

However for the people that this device does and could work for, it really is a life changing invention. Im sure any e cig user will tell you the same because many thousands of people have not touched a real cigarette since buying one and that is undoubtedly a very good thing.

Rash, the cigarette is re-usable, its the juice you buy for it that contains the nicotine. They are available from very strong right down to a 0 nicotine content.

4 a day isnt really that much. That point is also kinda irrelevant to this thread. Of course, going cold turkey and stopping with nicotine altogether is obviously the best thing to do. However many people simply cant, or dont want to do this. They enjoy the act of smoking, which is understandable as its a fun thing to do (for many people). This device is the perfect compromise for health conscious smokers (normal people).

Yes. If you want to stop smoking altogether which is probably the best thing to do then dont buy one. I do not consider myself a smoker seeing as I no longer inhale smoke. I do however consider myself to be addicted to nicotine and still feel the need to satisfy my cravings!

I tried to convert my dad to the e cig too. He wasnt having any of it, too old and stubborn lol.

Also I should add some more about my personal experience with the e cig.

Ive had it for about four months now, my health has already improved vastly.

I no longer have a tongue coated in a lair of slime.

My teeth are getting whiter each day.

My breathing is better, I can exercise harder for longer.

My skin has got better, smoking was starting to give me dark patches under my eyes, they are no longer there.

I sleep better.

I taste food better.

I dont cough up a load of snotty green phlegm every 5 minutes, the list goes on...

Am I, and thousands of other e cig converts making all this up? Of course we aren't.

Do your own research and you'll find thousands of people giving the same testimonial as I have. Also look into the fda "investigation", it is bullshit man!

As Ive already said, compared to a normal cigarette there is no comparison.

As I said we cannot conclusively say that they are 100% safe right now as no long term investigations have yet been carried out. What we can conclusively say, is that there has not been one single death attributed solely to the use of an e cig, ever. We can also conclusively say that there is no tar in an e cig and compared to a normal cigarette the health benefits are unmeasurable.

As to the argument "keyboards without keylock are more expensive". I dont even think this is categorically true. Even if it is true, come on guys. If you are sitting with a roof over your head and a computer within your grasp, you can afford a $15 dollar keyboard without keylock. If you REALLY cant afford a keyboard without keylock (which I doubt is the case for anyone on here), thats your problem. Save 1 dollar a week for 15 weeks and then buy one, dont be silly now.

I should have made this post ages ago but didnt have the motivation. I speak to people almost on a daily basis about these things as I use one and people are curious as to what I am smoking.

I'll try and keep this short and to the point. Do you smoke? Do you want to quit smoking or at least transfer to a FAR, FAR, FAR healthier way of getting your nicotine? The e cig is a god send, it really is a miracle invention and if you are a smoker it will probably be one of the best decisions of your life, this is no overstatement.

- Gets boring explaining to people what you are smoking
- Honestly cannot think of any more cons


I should talk about my personal experience with the e cig now.

A few months ago DubC told me that he had quit smoking by using them. After a LOT of research I bought one. I havent smoked a normal cig since the day I bought it and I dont want to either! How great is that? HOW FKN GREAT IS THAT?!! Btw thanks again Dub, it is no overstatement to say that you could have very well saved my life!

The best one on the market right now is the Joye Ego. The starter kit costs around £40. Go for this one, no point in buying a cheap one as they are prone to breaking and are not as efficient as this one.

There is no tar in e cigs because there is no smoke, only vapour, delicious vapour!

I cant really say any more without waffling, I will say this though. If you are a smoker and have read this thread, then you would be MAD to not look into these things. Buy one, if it doesnt work for you I will personally refund you! I can say that because I KNOW that it WILL work for you and you wont look back. It will be one of the best decisions of your life!

Is there anything wrong with using a macro? No. If you want to mess around with scripts for fun then go ahead and enjoy yourself, aint nothing wrong with it. I use an auto enter script to drop hundreds of weapons in rubber games, good fun. It is however wrong to use it in a competitive game as it allows you to do things that you wouldnt otherwise be able to without the script. Even with this in mind, people who use scripts usually have poor roping skills. They are just as likely to lose to a better roper with the script as they are without the script.

I see whining about people using 2 spaces here... get a grip. Aint nothing wrong with using two spaces, anyone can do it. It isnt going to make you any better whatsoever. It takes just as much skill and timing to rope quickly with 2 spaces as it does with one. To all you people whining about using two spaces, go set up two spaces, you wont rope any better than you do now, in fact you will be worse. The fact that people take the time to modify their kb in order to try and gain an edge is a good thing, anyone can do it. If you're too lazy to modify your kb then fine, but dont complain about other people doing it seeing as if you wanted to you could also do it yourself.

There is a HUGE misconception that people have in relation to roping. People seem to think that the faster you can push space, the faster you can rope. Any roper knows that the key to fast roping, is TIMING! We all know that, so it baffles me when I see experienced players continue to whine about the "unfair advantage" that using two spaces gives a player. I also saw it mentioned somewhere before that you cannot physically shoot the rope faster with two spaces than you can with one. Once your arrow control and tap timing is on point, then you can work at doing everything faster. We've all seen crap ropers who go to the roof and do fast tapping... it just looks dumb. Without arrow control and timing the ability to press space fast is completely redundant.

Thirdly Ive seen silly comments in here about people gaining an "unfair" advantage because they have better equipment than other people. This is an utterly ridiculous argument. Firstly, spending money on a "good" keyboard isnt going to make you a better roper. As long as your keyboard doesnt have keylock then you're good to go. I used a crappy old compaq for the first few years of playing worms, then I bought a tarantula. I could rope just as fast as I could with the compaq. The keyboard is obviously nicer, but did it make me a better player? Nope. Timing comes from within.

We all love this game, we all put hours into this game. If I join a tennis club after some time im gonna buy a better racket. If I join a golf club im gonna get a nice set of clubs sooner or later. If I join a running club then eventually im gonna pay for a quality pair of trainers. If I spend many hours playing games on the computer, it makes sense to buy a better keyboard.

Would an average sprinter be able to beat an olympic sprinter in a race with the best pair of trainers money can buy? No. The olympic athlete would win even in his bare feet. The point im making is that skill comes with persistence and time. There is no quick fix thats gonna make you a super fast roper over night, we all know that. So quit whining about people buying a better keyboard or using two spaces... just concentrate on YOUR game and work to be the best player YOU can. Dont worry about what other people are doing.

With regards to the OP, scripts should definitely be banned from "serious" games.
