He's not right nino, both of you rarely even play BnG, I played more "TuS BnG" than anyone, by a MILE, and NO ONE I played was moaning about cheap shots etc, the only person that really threw cheap nades was MonkeyIsland, and I am cool with that...

You don't even understand the "passion" behind BnG this "lame" thing you talk about is nothing more than a stupid immature myth these days, no one even cares that much when people are being cheap anymore.

[...]

And yes, we expect people to play with more skill than 8 years ago it's f@#!ing progress, just like in everything in this world, people are expected to keep up with the times, or fall behind, deal with it.

I rarely applaud you Komo, but this time I fully agree. +1

HB was good enough, but there was one annoying thing: when you destroy the map, the destroyed part becomes simply white. Probably because for some reason HB doesn't use a texture behind it. (That should be fixed imo.)
This was a bit confusing to me.

lacoste didn't seem to have the same scheme as the one I uploaded. There were only 5 shotguns, 2 ropes... Maybe it's the new version of the scheme?

I told you lacocojumbo! But np.

Nice try to repeat me, Prof, but you missed the point at a point. :)
If you are a noob basher and avoid someone, the point is that you don't lose points.  ;)

Long live the points! lol

We're saying we can't enforce rules against avoiding.

Why not lol?

If you don't approve of noob bashing then whats the big problem?

Isn't noob bashing solved already? I actually don't know how the point system works, but I know that you earn less points for beating players who are weaker than you. Plus there is a restriction of how much games you can play against a person per season.
All this avoiding-or-not doesn't make much sense, unless you reach the PO's. And in the PO's you can't avoid to play your games.
What's the point?
Play cups, if you want professional results. That's how it works in professional sports too, doesn't it?

I played my game against Warlord at about 6pm GMT.

You just can't fit everything between rules!

Warlord lol I f@#!ed up the last missile, you didn't die, only fell to the bottom of that girder! :D But Thouson said I won anyway, because you quit, and you had no missile or holy nade.. Bl, gg!

he's not inmature tho, he just wants komos ass mad

Which kinda implies that he's immature. :D

Hehe, just what I wanted to say.. :)
I like your ide René, but then the next question would be that do we need karma at all?
Giving or taking it connected to specific situations is more accurate and objective, but on the other hand, it gives the possibility to easily abuse it (this is the current system).
With your system there would be less interest in the whole karma >> there would be less abuse, but less use as well, so I don't think it would carry more meaning, plus less people would use it at all. This is only my opinion, of course.

As much as I, myself like and somehow trust the way karma system works, but you shouldn't read too much into it, nor get offended by smites.

Well, that's what I wanted to say. :)

And Rok, you are right from a point. But people having the karma you are expected them to have doesn't necessarily means that the most people use it consequently.
Maybe I am wrong about saying the most of, but there are many people who doesn't use it the way as a mature person would. At least that's what I've experienced. :)

I made a suggestion some time ago, it went ignored though..

Either do that and keep it anonymous, or remove the entire karma system imo. Revealing names will not do any good, remember, this is the internet. :P

+1

Well I give or take karma sometimes (heh, like now :)), and I do care about how and why, but the whole thing doesn't really make much sense, since most of the ppl here use it in a very immature way..
