Ppl who applied for beta testing should have gotten key to activate it on Steam. Check your e-mails. From today, you should be able to play it.

Maybe put a timestamp on every generated map in next patch? Under "Start" for example. Dunno how hard this would be to implement but it shouldn't be difficult right!? Date/hour/timezone..

Anyway, it's cool feature and it will help stopping fights between opponents while doing competitive match. Something like: "fk off, you've been practicing on this map until you started playing it with eyes closed" and similar..

Would be good to make it bo3 when group phase is over. I'm sure most of the guys won't have anything against. At least make finals bo3, even tho I'd put them bo5 personally.

Btw I planned to stream some good matchups during group phase and finals/bronze matches ofc. So when the good match is ahead, pls lemme know here or in Discord.

Sorry LTK, these times seemed outrageous so I did the troll one for the laughs. Can just remove it. Although, tehnically, I nailed it.

Funnily enough, most of my time online in WA I spend with US and UK players. It's been going on for years now and never gets boring. Even if you play the game that have hundreds of thousands players online any moment of the day (CS:GO, Rocket League, Dota) you'd play it with few same ppl every night.

So don't really understand what you guys trying to say, except that you're getting old and grumpy.

Rock paper scissors is good idea.
It doesnt matter if it's 1 or multiple space keys. It matters if you're using unfair and forbidden advantage of being able to release other rope while first is still being attached, with special scripts.

also, buy an xbox controller for PC :)

If i'm not mistaken, this is logitech rumblepad 2 controller. Quite a good one. Liked it more than ps4 controller for rocket league.

LilScrappy, since you're already allowing ppl to play regular big rr scheme, instead of a zar one - in case where 1 player is for zar, can we get something like "throw a dice system" to decide on which scheme is going to be played?

There won't be enough players after a month to start a match

That's what I wrote in t17 discord.. Wished them luck as well  :D

Lolicon-guy, your post was quite a mess. I tried to understand it, but you were jumping from democracy in community, to DC having mental issues, to psycho killers.. :) Gotta admit, fun train of thoughts. Almost felt like you're trolling everyone who decides to read it. Maybe I'm just too stupid to understand it.  ::)

While it can be argued that it's never too late for an update, as far as I am concerned, it is already far too late because the best era of W:A is long gone and the vast majority of the most interesting / fun / skilled players no longer play and likely will never be active again.

I don't know where you're getting all this negativity from. It feels like you, me, and couple of other ppl around here doing same conversations over and over again. "Interesting/fun/skilled players are gone" Cmon dude. What you're saying right now is outright lame! You're living in some kind of a 'last century WA bubble', not letting anyone come close to it cause it may burst eventually.. If you really believe in words you just said, then you're delusional as well.
LilScrappy - couple of weeks ago this was just a name I knew from few of our twitch big rr/aerial sessions when he would jump in and chat about WA. Then I started seeing him in games every night and we got to talk. I mentioned poker one night and he revealed he's playing poker for living. Week after I see him hosting Big RR tournament on TUS with 200$ prize pool. Not interesting enough for you?

Legion was a nick never to be seen around Wormnet, until 2019. Then he started joining community chats/games, he made a program that lets you make your own Big RR map in few clicks.. Not to mention he's one of the scariest big rope racers in the game right now, especially when it comes to challenges. Not skilled enough for you?

Cueshark is a grown ass man,40+, got kids to feed.. came back to wa recently and enjoying every minute he gets to play it. Making new schemes, posting new youtube vids.. Voice chatting, drinking beers and having good time with anyone who's online. Not to mention guy is a fkn community legend. I also bet he's more thrilled to see a total newbie getting interested in WA after 20 yrs, than to play again with any other legend from old era.  Not fun enough for you?

I see you come online, host a game in 2 seconds and close it in next 10 seconds. 12 seconds of your lobby time is not actually "i'm looking for some fun time, so came to socialise on wormnet" kind of style. You keep distancing from community while also keep saying everyone suck nowadays. I don't see any sense of you keep playing WA with this attitude. Personally, I would be long gone if feeling this way.

Gotta give props to Sensei for making that server and for his leadership with organizing games.

We're getting some great numbers there and lot of newcomers getting interested in the game. Community is where props need to be given, not me! Appreciate your words, nevertheless.

How come it works for you? Hosting/joining from GS just makes it crash on my system.
And it's been like that since 1.49 version or something.

Great Snooper hosting/joining started working again for me.. It wasn't the issue with the program (or it is, depends if tomi thinks that's an issue), but my system!

WA was ran in compatibility mode with WinXP ServicePack3 until few days ago.. Went through my mind few mins ago to try out snooper hosting now and it actually did work.

So for anyone that have WA running in compatibility mode, don't do it, I guess! :/
