Well only 3 matches need to be played in each group... So I guess each group could arrange a time to meet, and get them all done in one sitting?
I don't know how reliable everyone is, maybe it's best to arrange each match separately.

Either way... who in Group 2 can do 19:00 GMT this Sunday (1st June)? just putting it out there.

Only just remembered to watch how others did it...
But i'm confused, why did I use a different map to everyone else? did you change the map at one point, then change it back?

haha I can't believe I'm seeing this map!

I made this map back in April '08 (I still have the psd).
I never uploaded it anywhere and only ever hosted it a few times because I made another one very similar the next day (here)
Now I see some sneaky bugger uploaded it to wmdb.

If only I had replays from '08, I could see whether I ever played with this MestreAllan gentleman.

So glad I noticed this thread albeit a bit late, and really good to hear from you.
I just wanted to say, I don't think you've got anything to apologise for.
You were fun to play with and smarter as an 11yo than a lot of the people who call themselves adults around here.
I have to say sorry for teasing you back in the days of TuT. Hopefully we can have a game soon.

This sticky has probably lost its stick by now, but I'll post anyway.

Does it still apply now the switch has been made to 2.0?
If so, I'd like to express my fondness for a theme which I think was made by THeDoGG on tus 1.0.
It would bring me much joy to see it again in the themes list.

This worms theme, it's all very cleverly implemented but I yearn for something easier on the eyes.

yeh nice idea, crate shower would be fun... would add a degree of timing.
I'll edit this map and put the pixels along the bottom, and call it Darts CS.

EDIT:.

Only problem is, crates start falling during the initial teleport, and slows things down >:( grrr... now teleporting takes even longer!
could use PX to autospawn worms at start, but that would just be adding another player filter on top of rubberworm. not keen.

CB for crate bonus.
+2 points for grabbing a crate.. (worms who miss the board don't get the bonus, otherwise it wouldn't be a bonus)

Anyone have any ideas to advance the scheme?
More maps needed? I don't know if it's a scheme that calls for a variety of maps, there is only one 'real' competition darts board design afterall.

Should anything be done about the unlucky darts who hit the edge?
A map could be made with a floor that extends a certain distance to the board which would save the worms who hit the edge (allowing them to go again). Worms who hit the edge do tend to bounce back further than the other failures, so this could be a possibility.

Bungee darts anyone?
I've done a bit of experimenting with bungee darts, but i'm not really a bungee enthusiast (only in real life :D)
