For UK and other countries with a public smoking ban, there is no law against using the e-cig indoors, so you can smoke it freely in a pub without harming others, you might get a few funny looks, but that wouldn't stop me if I was into this e-cig lol.

I am exactly the same, except at work, I don't use computers at work, what's your style anyway? I don't even know what I am I haven't looked into this, I was actually surprised last week when I found out that I am above average which was cool, but anyway i'll break it down how I type if you are interested:

When I am typing my thumbs cross over to create a sort of "X" pattern on the space bar with my left being over my right, my left index rests on F my left middle on E my right index on J and my right middle on I, I only use the pinky for enter and left shift, i've noticed when I use backspace I use both my right pinky and ring finger, you got any tips to improve?

Well, this little test ain't exact spot on either but it's fun xD Probably as close as each other, also coming to think of it, do the official tests have special keyboards or seating arrangements or something?

Nice post Nail, but I disagree with some parts of your "better equipment" bit, without a doubt, keyboards with no keylock are easier to rope with than keyboards with keylock, and most keyboards without keylock do cost more, not that it matters because like I said, I bought a £5 keyboard, which Spacebar sucks, but using keychanger Left Control makes it perfect, I totally agree modifying your own keyboard, in any way that doesn't rid the need of skill should be legit, and it pretty much is anyway, more generally speaking though, the best quality things in life are more expensive, that's just the way it is, but like you said, money isn't worth any amount when/where raw natural talent and skill is needed.

I think "fast taps" are more useful in TTRR than in Roper, especially if it's a tight RR map, if you know what I mean?

In Roper, for me it's all about quickly observing where my crate lands, and deciding which moves to use to collect it and get back as fast as possible with as little risk as possible, when I have an easy crate, I will literally slow right down and act as if I have all day, like if it's a crate possible to collect and attack in 5-6 seconds, i'll still take as close to 15 seconds as possible to do the job, if I have a hard crate, I try to use as little connections of the rope as possible, instead of doing a spike, or a shadow, i'll try and fly down without even doing a spike/shadow, by doing this it gives you the right momentum to pick the crate up and throw yourself back up, saving very valuable seconds.

I see so many Ropers see a hard crate, and do like 20 taps along the roof thinking it made them faster, but it doesn't lol, I think it's perfection seeing someone rope so slow, yet get from A to B and back and attack so fast and efficiently...

Shady, I wouldn't go as far as to think it's cheating lol, maybe you read faster than me or something, I can't remember even 40% of lyrics for ANY song that isn't dance/repetative, well, except Hey There Delilah, but that's a bit repetitive also, besides, I didn't know what I was going to type when I was doing it, I was just making shit up lol, but sometimes I have a problem reading, and I have the same problem also when the paragraph changes, almost everytime I lose valuable time cuz the way the screen changes it and I mistype/misread it...

Actually coming to think about it, the test is all random words, that don't make sense, but I think theres a subliminal message in there I've had "America white house" quite a few times, conpiracy anyone?!? xD

Nice to see another speedtyper xD It's weird cuz I can't get better than 125 on that test, but I got my gf to time me (yes, I got THAT into this haha) 3 times and I done 141-2 mistakes/142-0 mistakes and 146-1 mistake, The 1st time she gave me a subject to write about, she said "work" and I went on a rampage how I lost at pool to the work champion etc lol, then another 2 subjects, I am guessing you can type about 150 when you just type what you want too huh?

I have changed my job slightly, I work more hours now, including Thursday nights now, which means, I won't be hosting my BnG Tournaments possibly ever again,

Since I have a week off work next month I must host one last Tournament for old times sake so:
